The Sports I Love

Football - the beautiful game. Whether watching, playing or being a football manager on the pc its fantastic. It really is the universal language. And being in a country where it not a big sport makes you love it even more as you miss so much!

Cricket - one dayers & 20/20 - fast paced, action filled dayand even better if you are there live with beer in hand. Nothing like a day at the cricket

Golf - Not a fantical viewer apart from the majors and ryder cups but enjoy a good go at it myself even though I am cack. But walking round a course on beautiful British day before part-taking in the customary 19th hole is always a joy.

Tennis - Some of the stuff the top guys do is magical and its getting beter as a sport as more and more players become top class and advance the game forward.

Pool - Is it a sport? Yeah and it goes well with a few pints before/during/after soccer saturday (obv. if no Southend game or a away game I cant make)

Women's beach volleyball - no reason needed
The Sports I Hate

Polo - Not a sport. In fact anything with horses (minus actually horse racing). Silly toffs prancing around on their la-de-da's!!

Baseball - A game only the yanks could play. But yet insist on their championship playoffs being called the world series. You are the only country that plays the ****ing sport you unintelligent buffons!!

Wrestling - Not sure if you would class it as a sport but its not entertainment. Its far OTT and cheesy for my liking. And sorry to tell people this but incase you dont know its fake.

Netball - Why? (my missus will kill me for this reason too being ex-england) but why. I go along to support the missus when she plays but I dont get it. No physical contact? I say get the jelly and cream and lets get it on. And the aussies love it too so its always on TV!!

Chess - ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz. I know its a game for intelliects. The high browed. But really. a game that involves taking several minutes to make a move isnt really a sport to me.

You might want to mention that to the Japanese, who won the World Baseball Classic.

been playing snooker for 35 bloody years, best break being 31.

once sunk 4 reds and 3 blacks and missed an easy black ,nearly cried my eyes out.

Knowing what youre like, we are still talking snooker here?;)

likes..most sports that involve teams on the pitch/field..
Football, American Football, Aussie Rules football, Cricket, Hockey, Rugby Union and League. I do like some motor sport, I used to work at a karting manufacturers when both Garry Paffett and the Hamilton kid drove fo our youth teams, although I find F1 tedious. I love to play darts..love the athletics and cycling too

Dont like horse racing(anything with horses) snooker, baseball, basketball, volleyball (unless girls and beach are words used in the sentance) Ice Hockey, hate watching darts..snooker, pool(cos I'm wnak at both), swimming, diving, sycronised drowning.

ok love Speedway, be gutted if we lost it in essex, like football (couldnt watch it if it wasnt a team I was interested in)love southend , love cricket, love abit of boxing

not really into bear batting and bog snorkling, rugby unfortunately is lost to me, and I cant stand the big man mentality that goes with it
