golf............because i am cack.
athletics......apart from when coe, cram and ovett raced i dont get it.
rugby.....fail to see the excitement of glorified thuggery.
fishing......is this a sport or pastime either way its boring.
darts...pub game which is silly

the above i detest with a passion.

footballl.......the beautiful game never ceases to amaze me.
motor racing....drivers with bravery/skill =mindblowing
dog racing....great sport.................if you win but still a decent night out
snooker......bloody game drives me nuts but its brill

the above i enjoy.

The only sports I really detest and will switch off if it's on is (and sorry Randy/Seth) American Football and Baseball.

Apart from the obvious one , I love,
Athletics, To me a true sport, no technical equipment that can give an advantage , a straight forward furthest, fastest, highest , the best man wins challenge
Cycling, i brought up in a racing household, and was watching club cycling from birth.
Superbikes, less of a procession than MotoGP, fewer primadonna's and a great days entertainment (but less of a sport as there is a high dependance on quality equipment meaning that a lesser man with better equipment can win)

Propbably of all the sports I don't show a great deal of interest in, Showjumping sticks out in my mind as the most pointless. (Oh and Polo - Hockey for people who are too posh to run around themselves)

I also have a bit of a gripe about games which call themselves sport. Darts (I love as a game) Snooker, probably bowls too, I would count as games, skilfull without doubt but hardly require stamina , fitness etc . Perhaps my criteria would be , If it just requires practice its a game, if training is involved then its a sport.

been playing snooker for 35 bloody years, best break being 31.

once sunk 4 reds and 3 blacks and missed an easy black which would have beat my best break.............nearly cried my eyes out.

My claim to fame: Used to play at Romford Luciana as a kid and Barry Hearn watched me pot red/green/red... and then miss a pee easy colour! I could have been the next Jimmy White :D

Holiday Camp competitions , Great days.

I once had one dart at a double to beat Cliff lazarenko at Warners in 1980

Oh and Eamon Martin (amongst others) Lapped me at the National cross country championships in 88

I saw 'Big' Cliff Lazerenko lose to a punter he picked out of the crowd at a dart exhibition at Clements Hall sometime in the 80's.

Leighton Reese, Eric Bristow and Jonh Lowe were also definitely there.

I think Keith Deller and Dave Whitcombe might also have been playing but cannot be 100% certain.

top man and a proper gentleman.

My favourite sports are Football, Cricket, Polo, Quoits, Extreme Dog Walking (walking the dog with a couple of cans and a reefer on the go) and Womens Weight Lifting.

One I'm not so keen on is Speedway

Rugby league is dreadful.

The fans are even worse and posisbly the dullest people in the world.

Beach Volleyball !!!

Booo!!! A great sport, just a shame how the people in charge keep tinkering with the rules and don't really allow any continuity.

Likes for me: Football, Road Cycling, Speedway, American Football, Basketball
Hates : Show-jumping (in fact any equestrianism), Rugby Union, Golf, Sailing

At the risk of being branded boring by Mad Cyril, I'm a massive rugby league fan. I was a season ticket holder at Harlequins RL last season and the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley has become a must-do for me and my mates.

I love the furious pace of the game, the big hits, the fact that you can have a beer whilst watching it live and the almost total absence of bother between rival sets of fans.

athletics......apart from when coe, cram and ovett raced i dont get it.

What is there to 'get' about athletics? As Firestorm says, it is sports at its most pure (drugs issues aside!). Person who runs fastest/jumps longest/throws furthest wins. Simple.
