A tricky one this.

The Shots are the form side at the moment so we need to be on this one right from the off.

Just feel we need to be another step up to how we performed at Hereford.

The home form is bound to be on the player minds as well as the supporters. We need to encourage the team on tuesday and not get on there case early in the match. Im sure there confidence is starting to return and they will be up for this one.
3-0 to the blues !

Realistically Luggy is not going to drop Barker. Same team I imagine. Im sure the lads will be extra fired up after the injustice of the abandoned game.

Fair play to them! I don't think they are being sarcastic - I think they are such a tin pot non league outfit that coming to our place on a Tuesday night probably will be the highlight of their season. If you went to the EBB you'll understand why they think the crumbling Roots Hall is a touch palatial. We shouldn't take the ****.

After this season I have new hatred for the *****, sorry I mean the shots. I would love to smash them 4 nil but I'll settle for new sort of win as we need the three points.should be a good atmosphere in the north bank. Hopefully get a few in there.

Sadly i think that they might beat us so i disagree with ur prediction

As Mr Phillips has recently said on twitter we owe them one! Think the players will be really up for this!

Barker must be dropped, has been awful for a while

This is potentially the biggest must win game of the season. With everything else going on, we simply must win, Blues 2-1.

Aldershot 1-0 Bradford
Crawley 2-2 Aldershot
Northampton 3-1 Aldershot
Torquay 1-0 Aldershot
Aldershot 1-0 Morecambe
Aldershot 4-1 Barnet
Aldershot 2-0 Southend
Macclesfield 0-1 Aldershot
Aldershot 1-0 Hereford
Wimbledon 1-2 Aldershot
Aldershot 0-0 Accrington

Aldershots results over the past couple of months, not the hardest run of fixtures really, but 7 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats is 23 points from 11 games, which is championship form, so they can't be underestimated. Saying that is only 1 win in 4 though.

Built up their confidence with a series of wins against poor opposition (AFC, Hereford & Macclesfield). We then capitulated in front of them and they were able to continue their run with more softish opposition in Barnet and Morecambe. Train hit the buffers when they came up against Torquay and an improving Northampton. They got a point against wobbling Crawley (perhaps unlucky to have not got all three), then scraped home against Bradford after being dominated.
They are there for the taking...........but will we take them? The only thing that will not be in doubt is that we shall be UP for this one.

Our problem is ourselves as i believe as i have all season that the squad is good enough to deal with any club in this
League its just for some reason or another we have under performed when it has mattered (internal or injury probs at the wrong time maybe) however things do seem to have settled down a bit 2 wins 2 draws .
Now players have to find that edge to there game and up it for whatever tactics or style they are asked to play .
Still think Sawyer is having a raw deal him and Martin didn't deserve to be dropped BUT Martin will be back Sawyer wont, he wont make another start now unless more injuries .
why oh why have the rest of the mid-fielders who have had many poor games in a row continue to keep there place , but not Sawyer i really dont know ,as i think it would suit him with Harris and Benyon up front . How the hell is he supposed to gain confidence being treated like that.
Still i do think we will get a big result against the Shots and then press on for automatic promotion
