A picture showing the ball as it's being played on the centre spot would be more useful in determining whether their forward stole a yard and a half or not.

Assuming this is the kick-off rather than restart after our goal, most referees would probably not want their very first decision to be a restart and be accused of nit-picking.

We've lost, we've played badly let's blame the referee.

We have had to retake couple K/O's lately because GSM likes to steal couple of yds. So not all refs are worried about their first decision.

Any way I'm not bothered about a restart. I would rather the ref give us our clear corners. The obvious foul on Gus that lead to the pen. Crowther and others losing their shirts on set pieces. Not giving yellow in front of the greens first half. Making us retake a kick 1 yard further back but allowing them to nick anything up to 10yds for most throws.

Yes as I said on the post match they were better all-round than us. Including conning the ref in all areas. Just like the one who did the Sutton match. Its those sort of refs that remind me we are NL not always the football.
