Let's face it, things can't get much worse than they currently are so why not give him a go! Wouldn't mind seeing him out on the wing to give Hurst and Straker some proper competition!

Camus? I think he has some good ideas but his work is a little jaded, not having the stamina for the whole tale I often find I start near the end to give him a chance to impress but still find there is no end product. Maybe I should give him a go from the start and see what happens....

I messed that up.........I should have replied with quote to this,

We are slipping away fast and the teams below are catching up! We need to act now else the season will be thrown away!
 
More seriously and worryingly, if this is NOT a done deal (CP was claiming it wasn't) WHAT IS IT? Well, one explanation could be that it's PB trying to cover his back. Perhaps there are not going to be any more signings, after PB said there could be up to four, so is this to say that at least he tried to bring players in and failed gallantly?

Been to every game so not been in a coma!!
How many teams are below us in this league, and how many above us.
So things can get a lot worse??
Yes i agree we need too tinker with the team but a good team does not become a bad one overnight??
A knee jerk reaction NO.
In my time supporting Southend I have watched many teams a lot worse than the present team??

OMG what is it with you lot on here. We do not need a striker, we do not have the players to play 4-4-2, we need competition for Hurst and Straker.

Ephraim has played nearly all his football in the Championship, yes he hasn't scored many, but a player of that type and ability will create space by running at defenders for others to capitalise on, and should help the team be a lot more productive and creative. (At League two level!!!!)

Some people on here have no idea, really.
 
We need an creative players to give us an chance!! We don't need other striker, only someone like Ephraim can help us out on this front,
