We’ll need our wingbacks to be on it today & our strikers must take their opportunities when they crop up.

When will fans learn that Bridge has never been part of a a back 5. It truly amazes me how much debate a non existent back 5 creates on the Zone.

After Maidenhead, I'd find it difficult to claim Coker was a footballer, let alone a striker

I can see the idea in principle as Walker was almost playing as a number 10 ... But Coker just isn't up to it

Stubborn Kev strikes again... Coker has been pretty poor the last few games he's played. Walker looked lively on Tuesday - so he drops him and reverts to the formation that has been proven not to work - lovely!

Coker was poor last Saturday, but over the course of the season in my mind he’s in our top five performers (Ralph, Taylor, Scott-Morriss and Morton would be the others now Pepple has departed).

He actually took up some really good positions at Maidenhead, but his first touch and control was uncharacteristically poor, leading us to turn over possession in advanced positions. That means there’s the potential for a huge improvement if he gets that right.

I’ll be fascinated to see if he’s deployed on the right or left of a three like last week, in behind a two as he played during his youth team days, or as part of the midfield three in a 3-5-2, or even a combination of all three in and out of possession to try to give us control of the game.

Who knows . Our fetish with formations runs endlessly. We whined on and on about the need for flexibility, and so I presume the manager team will adopt whatever approach the believe will deliver the right result.
