Covers on it will be fine.

Wealdstone Match Postponed

Today's match against Wealdstone has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

A pitch inspection at Roots Hall was scheduled for 10am with temperatures below freezing overnight, and the surface was unable to survive the conditions, with temperatures not set to rise too much throughout the day.

Any tickets purchased will be valid for the rearranged date, which will be announced in due course.

I had an SVT ablation on Thursday, so wasn't going to be able to go today (was gutted it originally moved as knew I wouldn't be around this weekend) so not disappointed it's been called off

Could be a blessing in disguise. Gives us a chance to replace Kanu, get some players fit again. It’s a shame for those who were due to go but unfortunately it’s that time of year where this kind of thing tends to happen more often than not.
