After getting a point from our trip to the frozen north last weekend, it’s back to Roots Hall to face Wealdstone on the day we should have been travelling to Eastleigh - that game having to be switched to a Tuesday night in January due to their cup run.

The Stones, managed by Stuart Maynard who spent the majority of his playing career knocking around the lower league teams across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, are one of the few part-time teams in the National League and so are always punching above their weight a bit among the full time professional outfits.

They had a bit of a history of producing decent pros with Stuart Pearce, Vinnie Jones and Jermaine Beckford all starting their playing careers there.

This season they’ve been decent at home and dreadful on the road with just two draws and eight defeats from their 10 away league games so far - the worst away record in the National League.

One former blues player is turning out for them, let’s hope that Nathan Ferguson doesn’t choose Saturday’s game to replicate the goal he scored for us at Forest Green Rovers!

Obviously our home form is pretty good with 8 wins and 2 defeats from the 10 league games to date, however with injuries mounting, and no official news of the promised takeover being completed before the game and so lifting of the embargo it seems we’ll have to limp on again this week. At the time of writing this there is no news on the likely return of messrs. Coker, Fonguck, Miley, Andeng-Ndi and Demetriou so I guess we’ll have to wait and see what the weekend brings.

I have left a few lines in the poll to allow for insertion of new signings, but this is more in hope than expectation!

So who would you choose to start this rearranged fixture and what do you predict the result will be?

.Their last five games show a fair degree of consistency ......... or should that be inconsistency:- Won, Lost, Won, Lost, Won
Very true. Although looking at it another way they have been remarkably consistent away from home, where they have lost (I think) every game or near to. And of course you know what that means for Saturday…

Another week nearer the return of Cav?
And Collin, and Demi?
Lomas and Powell must be months away?

Hopefully Coker, Wes are recovered, and the knocks and niggles to ( guessing) Bridge, Gus, Cards and Taylor are lessening.

Will we have a trio or 4 on the bench?

Wes thought he'd tweaked a hammy when they stopped to train last Friday on the way to Gateshead. Hoping it wasn't more than a tweak. I thought it was gus that had done his quad early last week when it was in fact coker.
JD 50\50 to make the bench unless pressured to play through no choices.

Don't think JD can play as Ralph was registered in his place, through the whole Kabongolo Ralph injury thing. We will possibly have to wait until we Embargo is lifted until we see JD

Gone for the same team as last week if Coker and Fonguck still injured, Think the only change possible from that is either Wood or Vilhete in place of Mooney.
Was stated in FB that JR has paid half of the electric bill as RM said he is now the owner and should pay it , also a statement will be made prior to this Saturdays game , i dont know if theres any truth in it so please dont take it as fact. To clarify it was Simon Osborne said that JR had paid half the Electric Bill and RM said JR should also pay the other half as he is the new owner, Andrew Dennington replied that he is expecting a statement prior to the game on Saturday .
