Not nervous at all.

I didn’t expect us to pip Gateshead for the last PO place

I didn’t expect us to get past Rochdale especially when we were 3-1 down with about 16 minutes to go.

I didn’t expect to get past FGR when we were 2-1 down with about 6 minutes of extra time left.

So this is all a bonus. Maybe it’s written in the stars..?

I'm not nervous at all either, actually pretty confident, felt the same on the drive too FGR aswell, not sure if that's good or not 😂, but whatever happens what an amazing way to finish this year (football) after pretty much close to not having a team at this point last year, the players and management deserve all our support as usual and singing all game, even if we lose or are losing 4-0. It's going to be a really tough game, as there team has changed some what since we beat them at home. I just know I cannot wait for Sunday

Whatever happens Saturday. Southend united football club is back. Nobody has had it as hard as us. To be here less than 12 months later is incredible. One last go lads
Sadly, there are a few too many clubs that can relate to that and we are one of them!

I think that’s what makes Sunday so special;
2 great clubs with fantastic, loyal support who have been the victim of bad owners but are now on the way back.
We both lose fans to our bigger neighbours or in your case the lure of the London clubs but as we have shown, the potential support is still significant.

Whatever happens on Sunday (and I think it is too close to call) I wish Southend all the best for next season whichever decisions we each end up in.

Have a brilliant day everyone 😎
