We went up to Wembley for the first time last year to see Great Wakering Rovers, and as we were on the coach he was saying, this is the best day ever!

When they lost, on the way back... "This is the worst day ever" fickle much 🧐

Keep telling myself this, but can't say I won't be gutted if we don't win. Now we're here, why the **** not eh?

Have gone into every game knowing we’re underdogs and just being glad to be in the playoffs after where we were at Christmas, and this is no different.

I’ll be gutted if we lose but not heartbroken, Oldham are a proper club and due some good times, hopefully just not quite yet.
 
So, as the big day draws near the vast majority of Oldham supporters believe that if they play as they have in their other Play-Off matches, then the win will be theirs. Seems to me that Rochdale and FGR felt pretty much the same before their games with us, and they lived to regret it. If we turn up with the siege mentality intact, then, with 30,000 shrimpers behind the team, that's a pretty heady brew, and with us and our team together, anything is possible.

Rochdale thought they could outplay us, FGR thought they could out-muscle us. Both are currently preparing for another year in the National League...
