Must win game tonight, anything less than three points and its wave goodbye to playoffs, we now need 3 points at home every game to mount a challenge for the last two playoff spots.
He's just defending himself, no harm in that. Dean Brennan at Barnet had a rant at his fans earlier in the season. Remember the wee birdy (Paul Sturrock's daughter?) who posted stats on here to defend his hoofball tactics?Sadly, Maher is a man convinced he is right and all his critics are wrong. The more he is questioned, the more obstinate and immovable is his stance. He can quote all the data he likes but the fact remains there is zero creativity in midfield, little movement up front and possession is paramount, as he himself states - 'when we've got the ball, the other team can't attack'. Defenders have all the time in the world to organise while we go sideways, backwards, sideways before putting in a hopeful cross which no one has a chance of capitalising on because it's either inaccurate or five minutes too late or usually both! Even if we win tonight it won't resolve the basic problem which is that this style of football will never result in promotion back to where a club of this stature should be. Three points will only paper over the cracks of a structural problem which can only be resolved by a change of coaching staff.
Been that good in training has he?Wind deserves to start a game
That's the same for every season, fairweather fans will just go back to west ham or whateverTBH if this season doesn't end with a surge and high expectations for the next one, then season ticket demand will slump?.
When was the gift given? This is a rescheduled fixture, don't forget. My post #29.
That says it all.
I can't give away my ticket.
I am more annoyed at the relative who gave me a birthday present of a ticket to a London show without considering the fixture![]()

Just a bit of attacking intent and pride in the shirt, really.I don't think that is really fair, what we have been expected to watch this season has been dire. After all football is an entertainment. I've watched the Blues for nigh 60 years and can only remember a few times as bad or worse, the Wignall era springs to mind, Bond & Campbell another.
In supporting this club you expect a few troughs, Moore and Alvin Martin's times were also dismal. Our fan base is so loyal, we have been through the ringer in recent years. I think we all expected this season to be better than the last, its just what all fans want.
Coker was taken off in 64th minute, Morton 86th (Husin stayed on). However Morton was probably the most impressive (yes I know from very much a weak group) of the outfield players Saturday.Yes that concerned me slightly when Kev was talking about Miley. I’ve loved Miley this past few years but Morton offers so much more. Does make you wonder what Kev sees as again it was Morton taken off before Coker and Husin if I’m right on Saturday. Morton is technically the best midfielder we have and has a great passing range. He should be first on the sheet and then build around him

That's what i was told from a good contract, who was told that from a steward.
Agreed, the frustrating thing is always the guarantee that we go back to the negative football after getting within a whisker of the play offs which is what we did after Dagenham and Fylde. You never know - historically we always play better against the better teams (apart from Barnet recently it seems) so this could be the game that we turn it around..........
After the last 2 performances I am wasting my season ticket tonight and giving this a miss, still too upset and angry after Saturday.
Never thought I would be saying that but our mind numbing, depressing style of crab football has tested me beyond the limit and I need a break.
