I believe!!!!!!:Worthy:

And, also, the team could be

Smith
SC, MP, Luke, Barks
Hirst, Laird, Spillane, Reeves
BBBC, Britt

Bench of Bents, Spicer (red card cancelled yellows), Woody, Straker, Fred, Bomber, Laverly? and Cocko

Ben Clarkson tries to fit on my bench but Cocko keeps sitting down although he is an extra sub.

Cant believe some of the doom and gloom on here. Are we the only club with an injury crisis? I very much doubt it. Time for the fans to really lift the players tonight Im going for a 2-0 win.

Like the positive attitude - worried we might be tired after Saturday ...... but then so might Cheltenham! Another clean sheet would be great.

As you say, time for the fans to lift the players.

We have injuries, but we have also got 7 points out of 9.

We have a game in hand, or two, over most of the teams above us and if we win tonight we are in the automatics.

Plenty to be positive about.

Liking the positive attitude. A win tonight would really put us nicely placed considering our game(s) in hand on other teams. To quote Kevin Keegan "I would love it if we could beat them. Love it."

UTB!

So a win tonight is essential. We also need Oxford to beat Fleetwood, Torquay to beat Rotherham (Benyon to score...?), Wycombe and Bradford to draw and York to beat Gillingham. Simples.

We've got to play Wycombe in a week and a half, so a demoralising defeat could benefit us. Also, I don't think we can catch Gillingham. They are 11 points clear with a much better goal difference, so they will need to have a massive drop for them to drop out of the automatics.

Like us last season you mean?

That memory has been erased from my mind ....

We started to drop off around December, so had more games to lose it. 11 points (practically 12 with their GD), with 16 games to go would be some achievement!

On paper it looks bad but sometimes these sides that you cobble together can do ok.

We shall see.

You mean one similar to a team who were top of the league on the 13th of February last year, with 56 points from 30 games. Looking back at those details it's surprised me, when people have spoken of the weakness of the league this year and how less points would get you promoted, that both Gills and Port Vale have already accumulated more points than we had at this time last year.

Well the league table doesn't lie. Those 2 sides have been more consistent than the others this year. They've pulled away and then there really isn't much between 3rd and 9th.

Difference is that last year after 30 games, 6 teams had 50+ points and only 2 this season have. Yes we were top, but only 2 points off 6th and Crawley and Swindon had 2 games in hand.

I Would happily take a point, but it's these sort of games we need to take advantage of and get all three. Hopefully both Phillips and Barker are passed fit or Paul Benson will have a field day in the air.

Given the highlighted, I would love to see an in-depth interview with Freddie getting his reasons for not featuring as much as we would have liked.
I've seen quotes from him in the past claiming he's over his injury problems, so how come a Championship player not so long ago can't get any kind of run in a League Two team - and one where he is considered a hero?
Over to you, Chris P

Subs: Bentley - Coughlan - Spicer - Leonard - Lavery - Harris - Eastwood (if he can be bothered, otherwise a youth)
