I sort of agree with you, but Worrall has been the stand out player over the past few months. To leave him out would be criminal. If Payne has to stay in then someone else needs to move aside. Leonard would be the obvious answer.

I agree, before Saturday Id never have dropped Worrall for Payne, yet a player comes in and does the business, so what a smack in the face if that doesnt keep you in the team.

Cant see him being a replacement for Leonard as he is too attacking. He isnt really a direct replacement for Worrall either, but I do think you need two central midfielders as well as Payne whoever he replaces.

Deegan in for Lenny for me. Lenny looks off his game for one reason or another. It definitely doesn't appear to be because he's worrying about losing his place in the team.

I wouldn't change the Thommo / BW pairing in the centre of defence. They look to be improving in each match and that's the one area of the pitch where I haven't been worrying unduly.

I'd like to see a change up front as Cassidy just hasn't been contributing. I'm not sure who I'd replace him with though as I prefer 4-4-2 and I don't think BBBCs the answer in the starting line-up. If we don't have any other options I'd keep Cassidy in the team and be ready to bring BBBC on for the last 20-30 minutes.

After last Saturday, I'm hoping Timlin is up for the match again; he was immense on Saturday.

What about Payne in place of Cassidy and playing just off the shoulder of Pigott? More of a goal threat.

Had this strange dream last night, we were at home to Morecambe on a Tuesday night and the Ref was Tim Robinson who sent Prosser off which was weird coz he was reading his program next to me in the south upper.

Surely we must kick this Tuesday night jinx sometime, hopefully tonight. Would love a really good high scoring win but expect and will take the usual 1 - 0.

Thats the formation we played for some time with Corr.

Dont think Piggot has the presence to lead the line on his own, which is what Corr had to do with Payne.

Had this sort of thought myself, bringing Worrall back in for Cassidy. Maybe even Worrall in for Atkinson, and attack a bit more, or move Atkinson inside for Leonard, bringing in Worrall for him?

Yes I'm still trying to get over the York game where we got out of jail. The two up front were just so far from what was a defensive midfield with an out of sorts Worrall. We were so lucky and made York look so good. I just think a repeat of that line up combined with poor opposition and we may be in for the same kind of match. We need to play with a much faster tempo which we did when Hurst, Shaq and Weston came on.

These are the sorts of games where we've tripped up in the last couple of seasons. Getting good results away from home is pointless if we don't back it up with good home form. Must win.

The backs haven't scored that many , so this may be true............

No defender has scored from a set-piece all season.

Barry Corr has one goal from a corner (Portsmouth H) and one following a free kick (Bury H) and Ryan Leonard scored from a short corner at Mansfield.

Don't know what the problem is at the back but it's time for Barratt to start and we can shuffle with Prosser available.
I would like to see Deegan replace Leonard who passed to a Shrewsbury player too many times on sat when he was'nt playing the ball straight into the air..............needs to take timeout to regain focus and confidence. Would also like to see Worrall or Hurst replace Atkinson in a more attacking 4-3-1-2 lineup with Payne sitting in the hole behind two strikers. Need to go for the jugular tonight as Cheltenham are there for the taking.
