Old Timer⭐⭐🦐

Tuesday.

Does Mr. Brown tinker for this game?
Can we break the Tuesday night game jinx?

Will we get over 6,000 through the gates?

These questions and many more need answers please.

With Worrall out, I think little Jack had to put in a display yesterday to make himself impossible to drop. By the sounds of it, he did ! I suppose it depends on how fit they're feeling.

One change, Deegan for Leonard.

I agree Payne has made it very difficult for himself to be dropped.

I don't think it will happen though, Lenny could have been dropped before now and hasn't been. As long as there are no knocks from yesterday, I would expect the same starting 11.

I think Leonard is undroppable, but if Payne doesn't start I don't know what more he can do.

We need to be more attacking at home, more creative, we also need to be more prolific from corners and free kicks with defenders chipping in. I reckon Cheltenham will sit back and be hard to break down. I'm going for a nervy 1-0.

No matter who starts, I would like to see the 12th man (i.e. us) getting totally behind the team and spurring us on to get those elusive Tuesday night 3 points.

Paul Clark mentioned this last night on BBC Essex, and he is right - the players pick up the vibe, and if the crowd are negative we have done half the opposition's job for them. Which wont help us play well and win convincingly!

I really hope we can break the jinx on Tuesday night, otherwise I would think we should start our home game on Wednesday night instead!!

PB had rightly played down the Shrewsbury fixture and it worked well as the team looked really relaxed yesterday. Even our management team were all smiles in the technical area. Having been to last three away I have noticed how quick home crowds turn on their team, for even the slightest misplaced pass. This sadly reflects the modern game/society.

So I'm calling on all fans, lets show the players and management we can step up to the mark. Lets be herd for all the right reasons in the next week. Be warned the next idiot sitting next to me who hurls unwarranted abuse will get a slap:winking:

Am I wrong in thinking that there is a virus/cold/man flu in the squad?

If so then it might be a case of which 11 are least under the weather. Cripes.

Or it could be just kidology ........................

One thing for certain is that Cheltenham need the 3 points - 3rd from bottom. Not a nice place to be when Carlisle, Tranmere and Daggers seem to picking up more points than before.

We should thrash them, but, our home form mm. I can see us being 0 0 for 70min then everyone praying that they don't breakaway and score. Im nearly always wrong so 3 0 to blues.

Hopefully we can get back to winning ways unless any of our players makes a fatal mistook. :winking:
Agreed, perhaps some of these cyber bullies might not be so quick to crticise once they get out in to the real world and gainful employment.

Worth noting that Cheltenham accrued the services of three kids from Liverpool's academy last month. Although their results haven't exactly been great of late, at least one of them keeps catching my eye on the FL show.

It's worth noting that Cheltenham have lost 5, drawn 4 and won 1 (against Oxford) from their last 10 games. That's a rather poor 7 points from a possible 30.
