Could someone explain why Taylor is only got a one match ban after getting a straight red whereas Gus gets a second yellow and gets 3game ban

Taylor got a red card for denying a goal scoring opportunity which is punishable by a 1 match ban.
Scott-Morris didn't get a second yellow, he got a straight red card for foul language which is punishable by a 2 match ban.
3 match bans are given for violent conduct or serious foul play
