Interesting comparison but I know what you mean.
First thing sorted- he is not a target man, and his strength isn't in the air. MM played Akinola down the middle and Hackett wide and that's how it will be. Hackett is the perfect right side of a three behind the striker. In a 433, 4231, 4141 or whatever.
Akinola is far better in the air- and actually nearer full shapes Akinola is look very good in that role
 
H-F actually didn’t see that much/enough of the ball but, from what I can remember, he went up for two headers, and won them both.
