It ran off rapidly in the other direction .
Personally, I think the combination of Bolger/Ibenfeldt and Richards-Everton would be a better and a more mobile option for recruitment than the Bolger and Ibenfeldt combination, which might lack mobility and balance. My understanding is that both Bolger and Ibenfeldt are right-footed defenders, but I could be wrong.
What happened to the pace up front that Phil worked out we needed in April?
Prosser is left footed. So is that Richard-Everton fellow...Is Prosser a left or right footer though?............if left, could solve the potential problem, if right then....:homer: D'oh !!

there have been more than a couple of hints that weston wants to play through the middle.

Myles Weston mate.
Sticking a winger upfront? Never really works for my mind.

True, but Weston can play up top or out wide, and this season he's asked to play more of a role up top and judging by his goals so far in pre season he's worth a go imo.
A friend of mine is a Gills fan and when they gained promotion from L2 MW played a lot of games up front and scored quite a few
23 career goals in 257 games, a ratio of one goal every 11.17 games, suggests Weston has no pedigree whatsoever as a striker. Whilst he has looked promising during pre-season, this is a huge gamble. It's my inclination that Brown is going to favour a 4-4-2 system, at the start of the season, with Weston and Barnard up front. However, I can see us soon revert back to one up front in Barry Corr when the goals are not forthcoming.
I would have thought that corr weston would be the two in attack . Sadly I still cant see Barnard getting 10 goal let alone 20.Still not convinced we should have kept him .Just hope he proves me wrong .
