Macca will get some good ratings because he got an assist and looked busy, but I was personally furious with his first half showing. Was directly responsible for their first goal and everytime he got the ball, the move broke down. Granted, he was much improved, as they all were, after half time but it doesn't disguise just how poor he was in the first half.
Hartlepool were **** poor, but we made hard work of it and should've won the game 3-0.
Totally agree, he did better than recently but he's still not that great a threat as he once was. When they were practising their shots in the warm-up i just cringed when Macca hit into the South Upper. He did better but not as good as should be expected from him.
Also put a shot away beautifully. You really can't have it both ways.
Did he score that shot? I'm pretty sure he didn't even get it on target, which is becoming a common theme with him.
Slotted it away right nestling in the corner and then trotted off the pitch - you are all so going to realise his importance when he's gone.

When was the last time he scored? Not having a dig just crirous.
Are we including the 2 at Witham in preseason?
That'd be Carlisle at home in March then
that's unbelievable, who in the squad had gone longer without scoring?
Jimmy Walker apparently.....
But Walker scored past Orient in February, so we'll let him off.

Can someone link me to the highlights?
Macca 6 Sorry but he was awful. The first goal was mainly his fault and shouldn't have gone mouthing off again and probably had more shots out the ground than successful passes
