Browns negative tactics meant one goal for us would've been enough. Brown out. Too many clean sheets. Everyone knows great teams are build from conceding goals...

Also, pretty sure brown and his awful network of scouts found Piggott by accident.

Possibly the most ridiculous post on here in a long time (and that's saying something)!

Still think Williams is shaky at the back got lucky twice in the first four minutes. Piggot excellent to have someone who can stick the ball in the net. Lenny??? slight improvement but still not doing enough imo.
Played em off the park for a lot of the first half...second half going through the motions a little. Excellent result and others dropping points....its on I tell ya...on

That final home game against Luton is looking potentially huge, if we're both still in the mix I reckon that could be a big crowd as they will no doubt bring plenty down.

Could it be a similar scenario to last season with Burton. Meet Luton in play offs after playing them in last home game? Possible I suppose but hopefully we will be intop 3!

Otherthings; 49 away fans?????very poor but I counted 51, did 2 get in for free? And they were on their manager’s back from kick off, very very sad to come all that way and be so negative.

I think CTFC are in disarray at the moment. That's the poorest Cheltenham team I've seen play at RH. If you believe some tweets about their club one of their players had a falling out with Buckle the manager on the team coach and was left on it! Certainly, when the second goal went in the body language from their players wasn't good.

Good display from us 1st half, took the pedal off the gas 2nd half. Adam Thompson definitely MOM - was everywhere. Pig excellent movement and improved display from Cassidy. Need to follow this up against Accrington who, I suspect having beaten Oxford tonight won't be as poor as Chelts.

Will also post properly tomorrow, got to go to bed, knackered and an early start combo not good! Fab night tonight, so we'll worth it!

first thoughts, we looked comfortable calm and composed, never a doubt about the result tonight. Stand out performance from Piggott, Thompson played well, made a few mistakes which I won't hold against him, and B-Williams is turning into a versatile and solid all round defender. fantastic to see Adam Barratt back!! To cap it off, we are closing in on the autos nicely now. Oh, and Col U lost 4-1...!

We looked shaky when Barrett came on. And people are surprised ????? :stunned::stunned:

:omg2::omg2::omg2:

Oh dear SG. Do people really need to post a smiley so that irony is understood. I would actually have that as post of the day.

Great result from a team that from my perspective in Australia doesn't seem to have really clicked 100% this season. Yet we are now well in the mix for automatic promotion which speaks volumes for team spirit and their sheer hard work. UTB. See you for the Luton match.

Just to back the work rate up, I said to my son watch the Cheltenham midfielders compared to ours...They were static not much industry...then look at the obscene commitment shown by Timlin lenny and Atkinson. ..closing down, tracking back, box to box. Love it

If they're taking 800+ to a game away at Plymouth they'll sell 2000+ for a big game against us! Who knows, that could be our cup final!

I know I have said it on here before but lets hope we don't give Luton 2,000+ tickets. They would sell them easily as they sold 2,200+ at Oxford last Saturday.
Just give Luton 1,000 ticket like they give to away fans. If it turns out to be a vital game we will easily sell extra home tickets. We do not have to give Luton any more than 1,000 tickets for a normal league match.

This.... we all know that the North has the best acoustics, and that 200 away fans can sound louder than 2000 home fans, so why the **** hand Luton a massive advantage when we could need a result??

Give them what they give away fans, and open the North with proper segregation and lets make the place rock!!!!!

Yep, Thompson was MOM for me.

Only 5 league goals conceded at home in the league and none since Bury scored on 25th October.

That's promotion form right there!

ps, A fine effort by Carlisle to concede in the 93rd and 94th minute. Better not cost us an automatic. Useless knackers!
