Agreed entirely...shameful performanceSeriously how do fans consider that a performance like that is worth giving the players applause after the final whistle??

Hmm....c'mon, A little perspective, please; that's leaning on a cliche to condemn an embargo-shackled squad.
Repeat and replace Braintree with any other team.We huffed and puffed but lacked the creativity, quality and ingenuity to break down a determined Braintree defence.
I think Parillon would be better through the middle than on the left personallyOK, I'll bite. Ralph; Taylor; Parillon, GSM and.....?
All used in the right position?
After that, not an ounce of quality.
Parillon has the makings of a superb little player but he’s still very raw. Hopefully he can push on as he was causing them problems in the first half and offering something different. He made a few careless passes and lost possession in key areas but I guess that’s the risk you take, trying to take players on. I like him.I think Parillon would be better through the middle than on the left personally

That 'negative' label has become a cliche.I’m tired of the embargo excuse. That isn’t the reason we’ve picked up one point from our last two games. It isn’t the reason why Kev continually plays negative, defensive first football with little to no risks taken.
I think the 'style' is dictated by player limitation. No pace and no control; but I agree we need a major overhaul if the budget allows. We could have played for another hour and we still wouldn't have scored. Severe lack of pace and quality in the final third.
We've got four strikers who all look like they would get no more than 5/6 goals a season.
If we don't score an early goal, then too often you know what's coming. We just can't break teams down who sit in and defend deep.
The worrying thing is that Kev thinks that this squad only needs a little tinkering.
For me, we need 7 or 8 new signings to replace those currently in the starting eleven.
Substitutions seem premeditated to me on the whole, rather than being proactive. Everything we do is in front of teams. There is no variation. It's the same week after week. If I'm being honest, I dont see that changing. The playing style seems ingrained in everyone. At times we look like we're trying to walk the ball into the net with nobody other than Leon wanting to take the bull by the horns.
Kev's got until November time for me to prove he's got what it takes to get us promoted. We need to be in and amongst it otherwise the unthinkable will have to happen.
