Southend to play West Ham - Tuesday August 3rd

Roots Hall being full of Spammers - bad. Said Spammers giving us money by buying tickets and food - good. We can't afford to be proud, take the extra money however we can.

Why dont the club do the sensible thing and give West Stand to Spanners and Give east to Us?

Because we don't want any of you riff raff over here... I'm trying to watch the game, I don't want anyone waving a ridiculous flag in my face while he tries to update SZ on his iPhone.

Fantastic News for the club and fans. This will pull the biggest pre-season attendance. Will allow for a few big kids to test their fists and bottle for the coming season and allow some of us the chance to view the game to see how are team are preparing for the season.

Hopefully the 'ICF' will give Ron the run around!

We get enough closet spammers at home games anyway...Look around at all the shirts are with us week in week out

I can't understand why people were ''other teams'' shirts to our games....but maybe I'm just old school..

The "home" stands will be full of west ham, can see it kicking off in the stands again too

Certainly didnt 'kick off' last time, however it wasnt particularly enjoyable sitting with a load of west ham 'fans', half of which didnt know their own players....

Back to the old days of infiltrating the home end. Happy Days. PC Spooner will have to come out of retirement for this.

No need for infiltration, last time a couple of seasons ago the stands were full of West Ham fans wearing West Ham shirts.

If it means a few through the door and a few quid for the club then great, but after the experience of last time I shant be going.

Got 4 ticks.

It always puzzles me why we dont have any 'big' teams at home as a staple of every pre-season. I know sometimes its not logistically possible, but surely if arranged early enough, we should be able to get at least 1 of the big London sides here each season? Theres enough to choose from!

Because as discussed elsewhere the big clubs often want a percentage of the gate to show up with a decent enough team for a friendly. Didn't we have to pay Arsenal something like 40% of the gate when Bergkamp came down a few years back?

Oh & I believe there's a lotion you can get that burns them off :p

Was that the same occasion Ian Wright should've seen red 3 or 4 times?
