So who's looking forward to sunderland?

exactly what i was thinking. they have some great players and look a completely different team that earlier in the season. keane has donw wonders. going to be a tough game for sure. maybe are hardest game yet?

But so are we. The interesting thing is that we are the two form teams in the division at the moment according to football365. I would happily take a point.

Trains cost £42.50, but we booked them a few weeks ago. I'd have thought tickets would be appreciably more expensive at this late stage.

On the 1834 train back from Newcastle though should you be making the trip.

Nosey sod :p

:p

Ok cheers for that anyway mate, think im gonna be playing that day anyway so doesnt look like I can go, maybe a good thing as i haven't seen us win away yet this season!

CAN THIS BLOODY THREAD BE LOCKED.

I am not happy - Got a really good mates wedding this weekend. So instead of paying £40 for a flight to Newcastle like a lot of my mates I ******* £60 on a hotel room in St Albans.

I think we will get a cheeky draw up there. We have no-one ot fear the form we are in at the moment.

:guns:

You might have paid £42.50, but I seem to have been charged £42.54. I've clearly been conned

Really looking forward to it - when you are on a good run, waiting for a week for the next game seems a long while to wait (you just wanna get on with it)....I am sure we will put on a good performance and I think we should be happy with a point, but all 3 would be great again. Who felt like they had died and gone to heaven on Friday with the 5-0 result? I couldn't stop smiling all weekend - couldn't have felt better if I had won the lottery.:finger:

I see there's a group staying up on Friday but are there many Shrimpers staying up in Newcastle on Saturday? If so can you recommend anywhere to go where we won't get laid in to for being soften softies becasue we are wearing a coat!
Or suggest anywhere where we can make in to the 'Spread' for the evening?

Head down to the waterfront, loads of decent bars/clubs down there (plus an amazing curry house) mobbed with top Geordie totty (although to be honest, I've heard for a better night stay in Sunderland, less male competition so I'm led to believe!)

That reminds me, is anyone going to start a thread for away pubs for Saturday?

2 of us going. First ever trip to Sunderland, looking forward to a visit to the best stadium in the Championship.

i thought we would get more then 650 fans up there, i no its such a far away trip. hopefully we will get 800 up there

Well there's 9 of us who haven't got tickets yet! I expect to still be able to buy them on the day... If not, then we'll be in the home end!! :thump:

To sell that many in advance for Sunderland away is excellent, thats already 400 more than our best ever turn out up there.

5 of us going & we havn't got tickets yet. We will easily break the 800+ mark.
