So who's looking forward to sunderland?

i can't wait. me and me dad are going. not brave enough to drive but managed to get easyjet flight return for £80. bit more than i thought i was going to spend but i just really wanted to go to this game as got old work mates up there. would be very happy with a draw but eh the form we're in whats saying we can't get a win? anyone else getting the easyjet flight that departs from standsted i think about 11.30-12.00

great game last night

Letting the train take the strain. Staski, Matt the Shrimp, Hong Kong Blue, Pablo and I will all be on the 9:30 from King's Cross. However, we are going to be sensible and won't crack open the first tin of beer until 10am.

Unlike me! Getting the 9am Glasgow Central GNER down to Newcastle with my mate who's getting his first experience of a Southend away game plus 2 guys he knows who are Sunderland fans (they'll be in the home end)! I can see us drinking well before we hit the English border, well that's the plan anyway. We're due to get into Sunderland about 12ish for more pre-match entertainment, Idols anyone?

I truly cannot wait & hope for a similar performance next week to those we saw last night and at Brum for example!

They have a surprisingly good metro system up there. It goes from the airport to Newcastle City Centre and then on to the Stadium of Light stop. All of these stops are on one line. Newcastle to S of Light takes about 20 minutes.

When Col U played up there, several fans flew up in the morning, got a guided tour of St James Park and then went on to the game. The flight back was packed with Col U fans.
