I actually put out a tweet to Cllr Lydia Hyde a couple of days ago about the whole saga is not looking good at the moment ect. Her reply back basically stated that the deal doesn’t need to be completed in time for the WUP. Make of that as you will

From Twitter sounds like Cowen is formally presenting an amended deal to Ron which he probably feels Ron should accept. I can’t imagine he’d do this unless without talking to Ron.

I believe Ron has intimated or even outright stated to the council that he will accept the deal.

Yes. But I understand that acceptance was contingent on a few things. This new acceptance is not.

I suppose it possible that the week was spent ensuring that the written up revised deal will meet with acceptance from and Jnr. Avoiding the to and fro contract tennis that has existed up until now. It seems that previously everything was written up for one party to consider only to then be picked apart. This time ‘hopefully’ it appears to be agreed in advance and it simply needs signing on Monday .
