Yes Ricey, you'd have thought they'd learnt their lessons from the whole James Walker thing. I thought signings would only be announced when they HAD signed from then on.

I think they have done it especially for us cause they know we are all ****ed off at the lack of activity on the transfer side of things.

Judging on what's happened in the past, I think you could pretty much take this as a definite. Seems to be a no nonsense player , gets stuck in but also must have a bit of class about him to have stuck around at Chelsea for so long .

I would rather have solid players than flair one game woeful another .
Kind of example was pettefer , you knew exactly what you was gonna get from him every game , you knew he was gonna run all game , tackle and give the ball easy ,he could also track his marker we needed that type of player at that time and i feel we need Grant exactly the same at this moment in time .

I still wonder about Gary Richards as he also was a no nonsense player who i feel should of been given a chance by us last season , but never mind.
