I can't say I saw too much of him last season but I thought he was the best player on the pitch at Billericay and was really hoping we'd sign him after what I saw.

Yes, I know that it was only a friendly against poor opposition but still, I was grasping at straws somewhat as the prospects of us signing anyone half-decent looked so poor.

Agree with this. Only saw him a couple of times for 10 minutes last year so can't get too excited at the moment, but let's hope he's going to be given a little bit more opportunity.
