Should The Mail Say Sorry?

really? some of the postings on here are ludicrous... everyone knows what the mail is all about, doesn't deserve time wasted on it if you dislike, nor praising if you like. Guess the same goes for the Guardian as well.

Let's be honest the scousers hate the sun, the lefties hate the mail, i think they're all a bunch of pricks to be honest but I at least acknowledge they're entitled to their opinion. Shame that both groups don't keep it to themselves

There is an issue here. The Mail has crossed the line.Character assassination of a dead man can never be decent, responsible journalism.Dacre should apologise, resign or be sacked.

Yet you had no problems dancing over Maggies grave and welcoming similar disrespectful journalism.

Don't do as I do, do as I say....Right, Barna?

Frankly, I don't see any possible grounds for comparison between Thatcher and Ralph Miliband.

Thatcher was an elected public figure,Miliband was not.

Is it because she's a woman then? Sexist ****

Or perhaps because you are not a journalist but just a teacher (in English, something 90% of this forum can use properly, not anything difficult)? No mark ****

Your choice!

There is no comparison between a dead man and a dead woman? Or is it no comparison between someone you admired and someone you disliked.

Ralph Miliband died in 1994.Thatcher died earlier this year (as I'm sure you and others will remember).

As I've suggested above, the only reason the Mail have chosen to focus on Ed.Miliband's father now is because of Ed's well known opposition to the Press Complaints Commision.

This will become clearer next week, when the details of the two different proposals to replace the PCC are made public. The Mail has made it clear they're against any form of regulation of the press, whatsoever.

The Mail hates modern,multi-cultural Britain. Not Ralph Miliband,he would have welcomed it.

Welcomed it in the same way he'd have welcomed defeat for Britain in the war?

Miliband volunteered to fight for Britain in WW2.He served in the Royal Navy.

He didn't hate Britain. The Mail does.

Excellent - ripping off the line from a Mickey Mouse (yet charismatic) Huffington Post reporter. I'd say that on balance, the papers on the 'left' tend to hate Britain more than those on the right. Out of interest barna, which paper do you feel would be more supportive of the nationalist political parties / organisations - the Guardian or the Mail?
