Season Ticket update!

I brought a season ticket on Saturday and was told that the East stand (apart from Black seat "Paddock area" and restricted view) has now sold out. At present there also no more RBS familty tickets being sold (having sold out blocks Q & R in the West Stand and half of the South Lower) the club may however open another block in the South Lower.

I managed to buy two in the South Upper but there were less than 50 seats left in this stand - not including back row.

The club also advised that blocks S & T in the West Stand were selling fast!

I believe that the cost of a season ticket is good value this year but should the West stand be cheaper than the rest of the ground considering the view is generaly not as good?
 
Must be getting on towards 7,000 being sold now surely?

Until about five years ago the West was a lot cheaper. Back then the East was fairly empty for most games. The Club then equalised prices following which there was a mass exodus from the West to the East (including me). I guess they did this to maximise revenue from the bars in the East.

Perhaps the club have now missed a trick by not charging a premium for the East (although I'm not complaining).
 
well I have been in a queue on the phone since 13.34. It is now 14.41

I hope they don't try to fob me off by telling me that they're really busy - I was only position 7 in the queue when I first got through. How long does it take to sell someone a season ticket?

there were only 2 maning the stations in the ticket office when i popped in 11:50 to get mine, phones were ringing all the time. but with people there they won't be answering the phones!
 
then they should put a better message on. I live in Coventry, so what am I supposed to do to get a ticket.

I shall be making a rather vehement complaint.

Tell you somthing the club ticket office with out a doubt IS AN UTTER DISGRACE the club got rid of the 01702 number to make more money from people calling and now they just leave you sitting on the phone! somthing needs to be done about this because its an utter joke!

I must admit it is a joke at times!

The times i've been on hold, and the queue just doesn't seem to move!

It does need to be sorted i agree.
 
well I suppose after back to back promotions we need to moan about something. I know it's a bit old school but you can download a form and do it by post.

Have you spoken yet? When I called I was told they are not making any sales over the phone for Season tickets!! Mail or in person only - unless that has changed!!

I live miles away from the gound, and work even further away. The only way I can sort out my ticket is therefore by phone.

I have had the same seat in the West Stand ever since seats were put in the there. I sent in my renewal form by post about 2 weeks ago, and have had no response from the club. The money has also not been taken out of my account.

I rang this morning to find out what is going on because I don't want to lose my seat (not least because I sit next to my dad and a very good friend) and managed, by the end of the morning when I had to go to a meeting, to get down to number 5 in the queue, having started at number 9.

I then rang the reception to explain the situation. The lady passed on my details to the ticket office, and I have still not had a response. All I want is confirmation that they have received my form and that they will not be selling my seat to someone else.

Are you telling me I should be all happy and smiley about that then?

That sounds bad, London. Have you tried sending an email and seeing if that gets a reaction?

I was only on the line for a couple of seconds, but number seven it was.

So I just rang again, (15:57:35) and guess what position I was told I was in......

I think this is something Ron and Geoff need to address, and pretty sharpish because quite simply this is not good enough is it.

We all know they are busy and I think we can all understand and appreciate that fact....but to have some people waiting for over 2 hours on the phone that are trying to put £380 in the club's coffers is a disgrace.
