Joking aside, this is a really key point. Can we get confirmation that the Trust were consulted on this?

I think it was mentioned in the last minutes if the recent liaison meeting. Would have been nice if the trust had consulted it's members to see what the general view was.

No one has mentioned yet that if you do renew - then you will be entered "into a draw for a chance to travel with the first team on the team coach to an away game next season" whoop whoop whoop!!!! - so its all ok.

On a serious point if prior to the info about season ticket prices being released they had given some info about the future of the club - the new stadium etc - finances and so on then the news about price increases may have been received with slightly less condemnation. The fact is no one knows what is going on and until there is some certainty anything the club tries to do will be met with ridicule and disbelief. I think the directors only have themselves to blame for this.

I think the AGM on April 19th will be a key date for any revelations...

I will Be renewing mine as they are the club I support, and regardless of what people think or say about Martin (me included) the club like any business needs money to stay alive!!

I look forward to the return of those who dont renew when we pushing for promotion :winking:

Agree totaly

So the Trust concurred with this inappropriate increase? Who were the other "various supporters organisations"? Shareholders? I don't think so. Zone owners?

would i be correct that the trust was the only supporter group that was approached about there views re season ticket prices for 2011/2012 season, if this is the case what about the other groups where they not asked for there input not
everbody it a trust memeber and they certainly dont represent me as a supporter of this club

For sure they will come up with a PR based time table of what is going to possibly happen - but that is my point. In business it is all about the timing. If you are going to put prices up you need to sweeten it with some positives in order to give people hope. Telling people they will be entered into a raffle is not a winner in my opinion.

Should be making an appearence on Saturday, who's going to be out and about afterwards?

What's needed is a comparison of prices through the league. I did a comparison last year and there were plenty of teams charging more and I'd imagine we still aren't the most expensive.

Below is a extract taken from the Trust/SUFC liaison meeting on the 28th February 2011...

1. Present
Tara Brady (TB) Helen Norbury (HN), Paul FitzGerald (PF) and Paul Yeomanson (PY).
Bryan Woodford (BW) had given his apologies.

7. 2011/12 Season Tickets
PY asked when details would be known for next year. TB explained that he felt it was
unavoidable that prices would increase. PF/PY agreed and offered to ask committee
members their views.

I think the bottom line is about truthfulness. Had the fans not been fed on bull***t for so long, then they would be more prepared to accept that season ticket prices must increase in line with everything else. However to try and tell them that their money will result in a more successful team is just taking the **** after what has gone on for the last few seasons.
Ron, there comes a time when the actions of the past are re-visited upon you and no-one is going to listen to a word you say and find any comfort in it.

ANOTHER error between the Club News Story and the brochure. The brochure makes no mention of the 9% interest on Direct Debits and states that only a £10 charge per transactions is payable

Here is the brochure extract:-
"•£10 charge per transaction (i.e. purchase four cards, only one payment of £10).
(Example – Renew 1 x adult season card at £350, select eight monthly payments. Initial payment of £53.75 followed by seven payment of £43.75 making a total of £360 after all eight payments)."

The Official Site states there is no initial set up fee.
