Number 25 = Kamara = out of his depth

Yes, he played badly but he also looked very one footed and we didn't play him in a position that suited that. Equally we've seen other players (Bolger) look very bad in their first games, but turn into key squad members. Can we give him a little more time before writing him off? Or maybe let the coaching team decide?

He's only played one and a half games, give the lad a chance!
Fine to say that he had a poor game but to say he's out of his depth after less than two whole games is too much even for this place.

Well, good point(s) - but he (Kamara) had a very poor game ........... is that any better? It is only a report on that particular game ............

........ and I'm not writing him off but in yesterday's game and with the midfield around him and the way the opposition was closing down on him, he (Kamara) was ........... well, out of his depth.

That's all. But I agree that we shouldn't be too critical - perhaps it was just too much for him too soon.

...but this is Shrimpermoan. It's only right to completely destroy the lad after 1.5 games

I don't think the comments on here regarding Kamara (including mine) are misplaced.

Surely the lad must know that he has a lot to learn about the game - if he was a footballing genius he would be on the Arsenal bench rather than ours.

Praising Kamara for his performance on Saturday would be less than helpful. He was up against seasoned professionals in a tight league. Kamara has come to Southend to get some game time, to develop and become a better player.

Best to see the experience on Saturday in a positive light - his first league start and something for the lad to build on.
