In my previous experience one does not agree heads of terms unless they're generally happy with the contents of a deal. There could be changes but hopefully not.

The rat will still control the club, but I doubt he will run it between now and completion. In fact, I doubt he's run much of the club for a while now.

This is probably the burning question. If contracts are being thrashed out by the parties, then we have an intention to enter legal relations and I'd feel quite happy with it all.

Be interested to hear if we have a date set for completion as well.

Yeah. I can’t imagine JR would agree to pay £100k for hmrc debt without some kind of assurance that Ron won’t ignore him the next day. That’s the answer I want

Heads of terms for a business deal such as this could constitute a whole contract in itself.

So if it's sold STC I think we can rest a little easier, and maybe enjoy a couple pre-drinks tonight ahead of the official completion date.
