Just happy to see him playing again. Okay its not a great standard but if you've kept up to date with things lately you'll know he's had a big battle with the booze

So good to see him doing what he loves again

Yeah I think it is, though if you ask me the North starts from Crewe. To go all railway, thats where LNW is split between South & North.

Clearly my irony is far too sharp this morning...:Smile2:

Ask a Geordie and he'll say Leeds is South !

Isn't there a "No Man's Land" somewhere in the middle ….:Winking2:

This whole “north of Watford” thing I thought referred to Watford Gap services, north (just) of both Northampton and MK. Incidentally those are the oldest motorway services in the UK. I’ll get my coat .....

Apparently (and assuming I haven't fallen for a windup) the guns on HMS Belfast are aimed at Watford Gap.

Edit. I've just googled it. They're not, but they are aimed at the London Gateway services...

The official line was he left because he was homesick. He actually left as he felt the club was a shambles (late wages, embargos, winding up orders etc.).

This level is better than most people think, I watch Wakering or Hullbridge if Southend are away. Always liked Ryan sad to hear he had a drink problem but the only reason he’s playing for Tamplin is money, like most players he’s signed it will end in tears.

Better standard than the -hit at Roots Hall the last few seasons, have you watched any Ryman football?

Maybe not, according to an in depth article in the Daily Mail, the total weekly wage bill is set to be £3k per week as opposed to £30k when at Billericay

Ryan Cresswell played for Romford yesterday at Dereham Town. I spoke to him prior to kick off and he seemed in good spirits. He was dominant in the air but sadly went off injured early in the second half. They were both very good teams and I think the standard of football played would surprise a few people. I won't do the obvious comparison with the Shrimpers.

Be worth looking at just to see if he and his head are still up for it. Maybe to old?
