Rubbish VitalFootball Rumours...

Ignore that site methinks.

"Our man with his ear to the ground". Well you ain't gonna hear much about transfers down there mate.

just emailed them this little nugget:

I hear that ex-Southend striker Sada N'Diaye may be making a comeback for the Shrimpers. Sada is currently plying his trade in France, but wants to make a move back to the South Coast for League One football.

My source says: "If the pay is right, Sada's on his way. He's still got the pace, and is looking forward to scoring many goals in England".

It is well known that Sada's nephew runs a cafe in Leigh Broadway and there is hope that the entire N'Diaye family can be reunited.

great work Naps... did anyone read the vitalfootball 'report' on the Doncaster game? includes such gems as..

"It was all downhill from there.Credit to Doncaster for some very good football, reminiscent of Ajax 95 or West Brom 08 in their pomp"

"Lee Barnard was as ineffectual and lightweight as he has been ever since we signed him. Make no mistake about it, this has been a very ordinary season and the buck has to stop, sadly to say, with Steve Tilson, who has failed to build on the promotion squad of two years ago. We're so much worse than we were then that it beggars belief."

has anyone ever seen Danny Crannie and Tony The Kray in the same room?

This just hit their inbox:

"Thought you may wish to publish this, as it is highly likely this move will be made in the next 24-48 hours.
Ron Martin, the Southend Chairman, has decided to splash the cash from the sale of Roots Hall and will be spending up to £1million over the next 2 days bringing in players that will bring the profile of the club soaring. Joining Andy Cole will be fellow ex-Manchester United team mate Paul Scholes. Scholes has always talked about enjoying a career in the lower leagues when his days at United are through, and most thought this would be with his home town club Oldham Athletic, but Scholes, who wishes to leave United on a high after winning the Champions League, will join Southend because of their close proximity to London and the £10,000 per week wage they'll be paying him.
A move for ex-Newcastle frontman Faustino Asprilla could be on the cards, but it may prove too hard to lure him from his native Columbia where he is playing for his first club Nacional de Medellin."

And this reponse from Vital Football

"Cheers for that. Expect to see something on line in the 24 hours. Just need to make a few calls to confirm this."

:stunned:

I'm sure it will be up in the next 24hrs when their fantastic "source" confirm we are in for them

Thought i would have a go! -

" I would prefer if this information wasnt published on the website as I have already been threatened by somebody close to the player if this news gets out into the open but just so you are in the know, Southend are very close (nxt 24hrs) to signing the "next Henry" on loan from Arsenal for a season. He is only 17 and his name is Etah Slavir"

What do you think of the name (read it backwards!) Quite good for me

What a load of twaddle!!!

Sada N'Diaye is set to Canvey Island FC as far as I am aware. They closed down the cafe in Leigh and opened up a do-nut stand on Canvey seafront.

I am Steve Tilson the Southend managers brother in law and Steve told me last night over dinner that he is set to sign a Dutch youngster called Franckie Blancks for £50,000 from Roda JC in the Dutch league. The lad is meant to be a class act and I am told that Southend have beaten of interest from Hull City and Motherwell to sign him.

For obivous reason please leave my name off the webiste as Steve will kill me if he finds out its me.

Thanks
Dave
