I'm sure Radiohead wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for The Beatles! Lets face it Radiohead are influenced by the Beatles as are most bands as Rock music progressed I found this from the link below...

'Songs such as "Paranoid Android" which was influenced by The Beatles "Happiness is a Warm Gun"' Er you can thank the White Album...

Of course much of modern music has much to owe to the Beatles, but the competition isn't who is the most influential... but what is the Greatest Album.

In terms of influence, many of todays successful rock groups owe Radiohead (Coldplay, Bloc Party, Muse etc etc)

Thats one of my very favourite TV moments ever...

simply stunning.. best Album opener, and even better live. I put all those Youtube clips up to show just how good they are live... the perfect album, by one of the best live bands around

genius is the only word to describe Radiohead and describe OK Computer

I think ultimately in terms of the completeness of an album, I have to plump for OK Computer. The White album has a couple of great songs, however there are too many tracks that i just skip.

Am I the only one that finds that true of Beatles albums generally?

Don't get me wrong, I love the Beatles and IMO, the first CD of that 1967-70 'Blue album' best of they did is as fine a collection of music as you'll ever find.

That said, they never seemed to be able to create an album without putting a couple of dud tracks on it.

This is really tough.....I keep wanting to vote for OK Computer but then ask myself is it a better piece of work than The White Album.....is it technically better?

yes!!!! The White Album was a standard continuation of the Beatles formula, whilst OK Computer was an obvious progression from the success of Creep/The Bends, an album that from start to finish is magical, and like listening to nothing else... not even another radiohead album

Although i think the white album is amazing, I'm right into Radiohead at the moment and have been listening to their stuff alot. What a band, what an album

having not heard either I voted for my fellow Powerbaser's album because of his appeal on facebook

Phew, as close as i expected, and a rather surprising winner i might add ... don't get me wrong i love both albums, but i felt that with other Beatles albums to choose from in the competition it might of helped OKs cause .. not to be though as The White Album moves through
