are you winding me up? just cause theres no bowie!

I was tempted to go for Bowie but do not feel there is a Bowie album that rivals Nevermind. The only one that comes cloes is Diamon Dogs.

I love both OK Computer and The White Album.....I need to see more evidence of why i should vote for the White Album

Neither really do it for me to be honest, but have gone for the Beatles on the basis that I've never 'got' Radiohead.

I think ultimately in terms of the completeness of an album, I have to plump for OK Computer. The White album has a couple of great songs, however there are too many tracks that i just skip.

Neck and neck on this one. Right down to the wire I reckon.

Yep, so don't forget the rules folks ... In the event of a tie i will leave my personal preference aside and declare the winner to be based on the evidence presented in the thread

http://www.lyricsmode.com/ is a great site to plunder lyrics from, plus youtube clips and google images all great tools to promote your act or one you are supporting

Radiohead - Subterranean Homesick Alien (from OK Computer)

The breath of the morning
I keep forgetting
The smell of the warm summer air

I live in a town
Where you can't smell a thing
You watch your feet
For cracks in the pavement

Up above
Aliens hover
Making home movies
For the folks back home

Of all these weird creatures
Who lock up their spirits
Drill holes in themselves
And live for their secrets

They're all uptight
Uptight.. (x7)

I wish that they'd swoop down in a country lane
Late at night when I'm driving
Take me on board their beautiful ship
Show me the world as I'd love to see it

I'd tell all my friends
But they'd never believe
They'd think that I'd finally lost it completely

I'd show them the stars
And the meaning of life
They'd shut me away
But I'd be all right
All right..

I'm just uptight
Uptight.. (x7)
