Malcolm/Harry was a true gent, who's general sports knowledge was second to none. I will deeply miss our daily football chats and the big smile on his face on a Monday after Southend had won and Colchester had lost.

RIP Malcolm, you will be sadly missed but always remembered by all at LV Shipping.

I know it's a Hillsborough tribute. But today it's for Harry

RIP, didn't know the guy beyond SZ, but may he watch the blues from above at peace

Hope there is a mention or something similar at halftime at the next home game

The club were told yesterday and something will be in the programme against Exeter.

I sat near Harry in the East Blacks for several years, he was a very nice man. We often chatted about the Blues and English cricket.

Sad news and and the club has lost a great supporter.

As others have said, I didn't know Harry personally only from his persona on here. No pre match thread was ever complete without his 'catchphrase'. RIP and my thoughts are with his family and friends.

Got a text from Blueblood this morning, completely shocked. Only met H a few times either at cricket or in the last post at a lunchtime with Lee but he was always a top bloke, great sense of humour and great knowledge of everything.

His stories on here of supporting blues in the 60s and 70s which were before my time were a great read.

RIP mate!

Harry was famous on here for his "We're gonna get spanked" post in the pre match threads.

Anybody else think we should dedicate the pre match thread to H by renaming the prefix to the 'CanveyShrimper Pre Match Thread'

Just a thought.

Harry was the only person I know on the zone and had the pleasure of working with him more than 20 years ago.
As echoed by others he really was a top man.
I had a few beers with him in the Spread before the wycombe game.
I will keep it simple : very clever , very funny and one of the nicest people you could wish to meet.
RIP mate

Like so many others on here I never had the priviledge of meeting Canvey Shrimper but I loved his posts with their humour and down to earth attitude. Feeling really down now, condolences to his family and friends.

I never Knew Harry personally , only his posts on the Shrimperzone and very sad to see a fellow Shrimper pass away ...

I sure your be watching the Shrimpers from upstairs

RIP Canvey Shrimper

Sat a few rows behind him in the East Blacks and have seen him at all the games this season. Had the pleasure to meet him properly in the Spread last season during Shrimpero's last visit. Seemed a lovely and funny guy. Sad news.
