Breaking News Rhys Murphy joins Yeovil

True hopefully the new owners will be looking for better quality players I expect a few of our squad will be looking elsewhere we won’t make the league carrying players that can’t make more than 20 plus games a season hopefully signing unfit players with long injury records will become a thing of the past ,so the likes of Murphy & Hyde is a good start.
I hope the new owners give the existing management and their football strategy the tools to do it properly and trust those guys to deliver on it properly.

These guys have done a great job collectively in difficult circumstances (to put it mildly). They will know which players are right for the team cohesion, tactics and style we want to play and who have enough to offer now that we can challenge for promotion but that also have potential.

The Brightons of this world got where they are by having a good strategy that they stick to in everything they do. They have clear business and football strategies and a target player or two (properly thought through) for any position or circumstance. Then collectively they make consistently good choices day to day.

If we can aim for something of a similar nature we won’t go too far wrong.

sensible move, good luck to him, just didn't work out here through injury and arguably not our type of player. I remember at the beginning when he was scoring goals people moaned that they didn't like the cut of his jib.

I thought his movement was brilliant at this level. He was able to create chances that other players just couldn’t. Finishing when I position wasn’t great, but his numbers when playing were good, because of his movement.

Will be a good signing for Yeovil (big) if, he stays fit. I wish him all the best

He played lots for us in first half of 2021/22 season, then he picked up a knee injury against Yeovil, since then, he was labelled injured prone forward. My hope he don’t play on plastic pitch at NLS club, and stay away from any tackles or jumping to challenge for the ball on a wet & slippery pitch.

Not a bad forward at this level if the team play to his strengths and IF he can stay fit, but not a great player. He never really settled in and never felt like he was truly embraced by the fans though.

An intelligent player and a really nice bloke. Wasn't his fault one of his ex team mates made him a target which started a long spell on the sidelines.

He would always spend lots of time talking to people at JB events, when some players couldn't wait to get away. Also remember him clearly at Bromley warming up on the touchline in front of the Bromley fans and protecting a young fan from a fast moving ball heading straight for her. Little things like that go a long way in this world, and I wish him all the very best.

They've got new owners who want to keep them professional.
Yes, if they start the season well they will keep good crowds and be title prospects. Iirc they finished season in reasonable form (as did their rivals Torquay) and have kept their better players. They would be a good club for loanees to go to with Coops as manager.
