redundancy

I bet you never, I am so cryptic today, I've even confused myself...

Not me though!

Sorry to hear your news Bobby, it's always easy to talk about silver linings and stuff, but maybe it is time to think about the bigger picture and a different direction?

sorry to here you news bobby was made redundant last week, even though they have know since befor christmas that our office was going, none of the paper work has been sorted and we have been told that we wont get our redundancy money untill at least next month

Im sure you all know but making someone redundant is not an easy business. There are a lot of procedures to go through and the longer you have been there the less chance you have f being axed, unless the whole place goes. If you are in any doubt, take some advice and make sure the firm has done things properly.

I have been made redundent a couple of times. Utilise every possible means of getting another job, even if it means taking a few steps backwards. Try the net for job centre plus, and job agencies as well as contacts inside your professional sector.

Always always consult a legal bod about this you could be missing out on a big pay out , plus there are many things you will not be aware off or even your company (like teh company pays your legal fees!)
