Racism rears its ugly head again in U21s match in Serbia

Whilst UEFA dish out 32k fines to the likes of Lazio its never going to get sorted.

We have improved our game hugely over the last 20 years, other countries, including "developed" football countries like Spain and Italy still have big issues, not just the likes of the Eastern European and Balkan countries.

We do still have some issues but no where near the scale of before.

With regards to the Millwall case if its down to a few individuals making close up remarks then thats a case to prosecute thos individuals, its when its large scale chanting etc that the club/country need to be really punished. In Lazios case the club needed to be punished, and 32k is not a deterrent.

As a Serb I am quite curious about the genocide Serbs committed on their own people? I can only presume you are referring to what happened in Bosnia to the local Bosniaks who are by no means Serbs. That story is a lot more complex anyway and its in no way as black and white as its been portrayed.

As a Serb, I'm sure you're aware that Bosnia(like Serbia) was part of Yugoslavia until Tito died in 1980.
I suppose "ethnic cleansing" aka genocide as practised by Serbian troops against Bosnian Muslims in Bosnia in the early 90's never happened? In the same way, presumably, that there was no monkey chanting against Danny Rose according to your account.Welcome to the Holocaust denial club.

I agree, unfortunately it seems that it's only getting worse after hearing about the apparent death threats to Marvin Sordell by Millwall fans. If found guilty, it will be interesting to see how FA will punish Millwall. They can't very well ban them from playing League football, so what else is there other then a fine or a couple of games without fans, which has all been done before to clubs without actually stopping racism?

It will most likely be individuals that will be banned from football in the Millwall case. Back to the game the other night, did you see the video on the BBC website taken from the crowd? They seem to be chanting something as well as making other noises, but can't quite understand, was hoping maybe you could help. Video link below.

Reading what people write isn't a strong skill for you, I presume. Anyhow my point is that Serbs didn't kill their own people but Bosniaks. If you think that Bosniaks are Serbs, next time you meet one please call him a Serb and let me know the response you get. I also didn't say that the genocide never happened. The number of dead is slightly inflated but of course it happened, as did many other atrocities committed by Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats alike. The western media don't report on those and rarely focus on The Hague unless it is a Serb on trial. Regarding Danny Rose, of course chanting happened, it was recorded (haven't you seen it???). Point is that it didn't go on for the whole game as he has suggested, which has also been proven via video. Finally, I find your Holocaust comment somewhat offensive considering I grew up 30 miles from the biggest WW2 concentration camp on the Balkans and majority of my family was affected by it.

The chanting was basically just swearing, which to be quite honest isn't as offensive in Serbia. When the fighting in the tunnel started, it was shouts of 'hit him'. I wish they did hit that bloke in the front who seemed to egg them all on and looked as if he was trying to get on the pitch.

And my point was that Serbia and Bosnia used to be part of the same country, so in that sense Serbs did kill their former countrymen, along with women and children too.I never suggested that Serbs and Bosnians were from the same ethnic or racial group. That they're not, is common knowledge, I believe.

As for the Danny Rose monkey chanting, I'm glad you recognise it actually happened.Frankly, whether it lasted the whole game or was just at its worst in the last 14 minutes seems largely irrelevant to me.

As the child of a father(along with many of his brothers)who fought bravely in WW2 against Fascism, I make no apology, whatsoever, for offending your sensitivies regarding the worst genocide seen in Europe since the Nazi era.

Again, you really are a ****

And once more you reveal yourself to be a ****.If you don't have anything intelligent or interesting to say butt out of the argument.

Perhaps stop calling people 'holocaust deniers' for reasoned and sensible posts then.

And I suggest you don't merely allude to what I said-which was clearly meant to be ironical-by taking it out of context, rather than quoting me in full(see below)and instead, address some of the issues raised by the monkey chanting directed against Danny Rose, by Serbian football fans.
Start playing the ball and not the man for a change.

Funny how it's everyone else on here that's a twunt and not you. It seems you are the common denominator in all arguments. Strange that.

Well it's the same allegation as the ref is facing, Aussie news reporting 'monkey' and 'spanish ****' were said resulting in police investigation
