Qpr Is Massive

This game on friday is truly THE ONE, i know we got fair few games after that but beating qpr on friday imo either makes or breaks the season a win and derby beating hull would do nicely. Lets hope tilly got a loan deal in the pipeline cover that left back slot, will be plenty of qpr supporters there and hopefully we make plenty of noise, normally do under the lights, anything close to the norwich game should make for sore throats all round. I went to qpr away earlier in the season we beat ourselves in the first half and could have scored a couple in the second half, qpr looked very ordinary for most of that second half and their recent form is a bit stinky to say the least, boys must be buzzing from two good results on the road, cross everything you got any superstition you have follow to the letter, whatever god you pray to have a word for the blues, sacrifice a few chickens (i personally will be rubbing my lucky helmet) we need three points on friday........please

What's the weather like down there chaps? Minus 6 when I got in the car this morning and with the threat of snow today - could the game be in doubt?

i didn't think qpr were really that good when we played them, any team would have beaten us judged on the first half. was terrible. we made them look good and i think we can get a result against them friday. also thought loftus road was one of the worst stadiums i've been to this season atmosphere wise

This is probably how I would describe it too. QPR were better than us and deserved a win but we were truly woeful. They had some players who played well but none of our players got near to them and people like Ainsworth could just do as they pleased. Blackstock looked quite good but then this was the early stages of the defensive diamond formation we apparently tried to pioneer and he had all the room he wanted.

I don't think we should compare ourselves to the way we played last August. We are a far better unit now and no longer make so many mistakes which were our downfall during the first half of the season. If we play like we did throughout January we should win comfortably. The only worry I have is if QPR come and put the team coach in front of the goal. We normally play better against attacking teams and have problems breaking down defensive ones.

Only another 91 fans needed. So only 9 people have taken up the clubs offer. They must have 91 half decent seats left in the ground, might as well release them for normal sale? Can't see this text thing catching on.

If you look at its merits, it's got potential to be a really good idea. It really helps with convenience and security if they get it right. For instance, if someone nicks your ticket, there's a fair chance it's just gone. If you lose your ticket, the club will no doubt charge you. However, if your ticket is a number on your phone, they can re-allocate a new number with the simplest of processes.

Also, there's no need to physically print tickets so costs (and litter) will be reduced and for us exiles, tickets can easily be distributed.

Still, like I say, it has to be done well

Surely there is more chance someone will pinch your brand new Nokia 8800 Sirocco than your Southend v Barnsley ticket:hilarious:

Nope, I'm sure it's a good idea for exiles, can you choose tickets or is it like the on-line thing just gives you next available ticket?

Fans always refer to important games as '6 pointers', well i would go as far to say that this one is a '10 pointer'. Win this and i am convinced we can pull off the impossible as the gap between us and the other clubs around us is shortened. Lose and i fear the worst as we are unbeaten in our last 6 away games and obviously are due for a defeat soon, and should the unthinkable happen and we were to lose 2 on the bounce (friday and at Sunderland) then we would probably find ourselves 6-8 points from the safety zone. Although we could still pull this back, psycologically it would be demoralising looking at the table. Still believe if we win 6 from our last 8 home games and one away, with another 2 draws this would be enough for safety.

This is certainly massive, but it cant be more than a 6 pointer :thump:

Damn ,I can't find me Wooly Hat ,still ,I got me Thermals on ,that's the main thing .I may start off my warm up in the Spread for about 50 minutes by practising using alternate Hands .Then gage the mood of the Rangers fans before venturing into the Golden Lion to share some Footie chat and friendly banter(this is where the former warm up comes in handy as if it all goes pear,I wont feel a thing) .I still can't wait for this game .I've got me bets on Southend to win and Freddy 1st and seperately last scorer .His confidence is back to its best .Can anyone see him not scoring tonight ? .
