Qpr Is Massive

We have only let in 1 goal maximum in our last seven league matches .That is mainly due to the up turn of form of Flavs ,Barrett and Clarke .
Yes Clarke still makes the odd rick but he has put in some commanding perfomances lately and is attacking the ball more now rather than letting the opposing striker get there first like he did when he first played for us .His passing out of defence has also improved and he is less likely to hoof .

Clarke has definately settled in. It takes time to adjust to a new team.

When we play these other teams near the bottom ,it's not just about getting the 3 points that we need ,it's also about dragging them down in amongst it .Lets see if they have the same qualities to put up the same sort of fight to escape that we are showing .

this game is so huge. i can't wait. this result could turn our season around. i just hope we can make it a real good atmosphere and really get behind the players!

Huge game and cannot wait - only Tuesday and am getting the pre-match gitters already!

Cant get to the game (as is true for next to all of the games this season! ) but will be in the pub I watched Luton and Man Utd before that wearing my shirt with pride!

COME ON YOU BLUE BOYS!!

So now the first of a whole stack of home games against relegation threatened / bottom half of the table teams is upon us. Games that to avoid relagation, and on the back of our recent run, we are expected to win - or at least get a result in. This is a whole different kind of pressure to what we've had so far this season. How are the boys going to respond?

Our two promotion campaigns have seen us stutter at times in these pressure games - particularly at home. Here's hoping we've learnt from that.

Hold on tight people, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

It appears that the QPR fans are getting a bit ahead of themselves after they beat Burnley 3-1 on saturday. On the QPR website a massive 75% of fans think that they will take 3 points from Roots Hall on Friday night!!! There are also some "easy" comments on their fan forums regarding playing us. Oh I love a bit of needle in a match, like this one needed anything extra to build it up. I would absolutely love it if we beat them......hang on I sound like Kevin Keegan!?!?!

QPR looked a good side when we played them away early on in the season. I am surprised they are so near the bottom. That said we should be able to put them to bed as we are at home and on form.

Really?! I thought they looked awful! That's what made the defeat all the more depressing....

Awful? They destroyed us for the first half with a fantastic mixture of pace and power that we just couldn't deal with. Second half they didn't look great but I don't think they were really trying too hard by then.

The first half I thought it was one of our worst 45 minutes of the season. We could have made Jade Goody look like Ronaldinho if she'd played against us during that half...

:(

We didn't play well but QPR still looked a decent outfit to me. Gareth Ainsworth and Lee Cook on the flanks caused us plenty of problems and Dexter Blackstock was a handful as well.

I think they've changed their system and style of play since Gregory took over, though, so perhaps it's difficult to compare. Whatever, if we put in a showing similar to that of our recent performances we should pick up the points. I'd definitely be more confident if McCormack was fit, though.

Is it on Sky?... went up there tonight to try and get a ticket but unless you want to sit behind a pillar in the East or in block X .. there nothing.
