Has anyone actually used the torch pub before on a matchday?

If so, how much were beers and was there a decent selection of beers and food available?

Heard it isn't that big and may get full easily. Shame we don't have the green man

I’d do one of the Marylebone pubs myself Tommy. That’s where most seem to be headed for.

I am driving (or rather my daughter is driving me up from deepest Kent. Leaving 10.15. Reluctant to book anywhere as not sure how long to get there, park and get where we are going..maybe we will leave a bit earlier.

My understanding was the Torch holds about 90???? Don’t know, probably I remember wrong. Suspect Box Park will be rammed because with 26k fans that where all the capacity is whether we like it or not.

I probably won’t decide until we are on the way up…

Pre books at Boxpark are having to be there by 12. I can’t guarantee that so it’s £10 on the door of one of the other pubs having grabbed lunch probably in the outlet- really confused what’s best tbh.

When England play, their price was around £8 a pint. "Event Pricing"

When Wimbledon had Boxpark last week, pints were £5 to 5.50. But online price lists suggest £6.40 Coors, £7 Madri, £7 Guinness. (https://www.meandu.app/bpf-wembley/counter/boxpark-bar)

The Metropolitan (Spoons at Baker Street) is £5 a pint. £5.50 Guiness (Check the spoons app)

The Globe is £6.60 Amstel. £7.15 Guiness (Check the Greene King app).
