FWIW I personally know the landlady and I can assure you that Matt Paterson's rent is fully up to date and always has been.

I suggest you post facts rather than fiction to avoid potential libel cases against the Zone.

Well you'll only do that by putting your money into the club. If you only go to the away matches you'll be following Southend, not supporting them, and your money will go to Aldershot, Barnet, Morecambe, Lincoln, etc etc

I was actually looking at some loans recently, and if you take out one with Sainsburys bank, you get double points on your nectar card for 2 years.... Ron must be able to at least afford a kettle from Argos with all those points!

So AB knows the landlady who says the rent has been paid, but you know someone else, presumably not the landlady, who says the rent hasn’t been paid.
I would be interested to find out who would know more about the rent payments than the landlady. Perhaps you will be kind enough to let us all know who it is.

They could both be right. If the tennant is very credit worthy, like say a professional footballer, lol, then the agent can keep paying the landlord and collect off the tennant. I think Hair & Son do this scheme.

If the tennant falls behind, he falls behind with the agent, the landlord still gets the monthly rent, the landlord probably won't hear about the non payment until things get serious.
