Anyway no, right now we seem financially stable (ish) and I see no reason to take action at the moment

Well just have a look at what you've wrote in the two posts.....

Financially stable? Not Ron's fault? :dim:
I'm not saying its not Rons fault, but right now there's no reason to protest because nothings really going wrong so even if Ron got us here, it doesn't look like we're going to sink lower and I see no alternatives to Ron so might as well get used to him.

Look, let's put it this way.... Some people are more privvy to information than others. From what has been bandied about, by reliable sources, it's about to get worse. A lot worse. Therefore i'd say to you, take some time to think it all through, read some of what's been written and read betwee the lines. You think we can't sink lower? LOL. And never mind about getting used to Ron, the way it's goin, this club will cease to exist with the next 12 months,

I don't mean any disrespect, but unfortunately, it's too many people like you, who'll believe everything their told by the club, and stand idley by, as the club dies a slow death

I don't like Ron, but there are no alternative buyers, show me one and I'll happily support him

Unfortunately, bar the consortium, I highly doubt any potential buyer will go public with an offer. So unless Ron says "yes, the club is available", I doubt many will step forward.

So you're asking people to take to the streets based on rumour and hearsay from some people on the internet?

southendkid hasn't said anything to suggest that he's buying anything that the club is saying. It reads like he's assessed the evidence in front of him and has come to a rational decision. If there is other info that he doesn't have, that I don't have, that others who don't see the need to protest don't have, then of course that could change people's minds. But for as long as we're dealing in speculation then you need to expect some people will not see the need to be radicalised. Especially in the absense of any alternative to Ron Martin and, seemingly, any real acknowledgement of the other issues invovled (ie the fact that Ron Martin owns the lot and isn't going to want to give it up and that whoever runs the Club is going to be running a business which loses money and has no cash).

That makes sense, still I can't see Ron selling as this point because of how much he's invested into the stadium, if he gives up Sainsbury's gets Roots Hall and we're left with a park for a stadium (unless theres some clause Sainsbury's don't get Roots hall until FF is made?)

If Ron were to decide to bail out who knows how many potential buyers are around? Nobody can say there are no alternative buyers, there is the so-called consortium for a start. When he finally runs out of money and potential sources of credit then he may have to sell what he has to cut his losses. Anything is possible.

Beefy, you've seen first hand what the man is capable of, yes? That should be all you need to know. Of course it's upto you what opinion you want to form, but IMO the best form of defense, is a strong offense. Why wait until we are summoned to court again? We're only heading in one direction at the moment, and believe me, it's not up.

That first comment is neither here, nor there... I don't see any buyers around, neither does anybody else, so how are we supposed to protest for change when there isn't any alternative? As has already been covered the consortium seemingly want the property development as part of the deal, which just won't work with RM holding the land and needing the development to go ahead.
