'President Putin 'probably' approved Litvinenko murder'

On a thread with the the word “Probably” in the title we have more probables involving more than one agent and foreign governments.... Sounds like a conspiracy to me.

There is another thread, where I explained why none of the CBRN protocols had taken place.

By the way miracles may well happen but not when your dealing with Chemical 10 times more deadly than VX

Dear oh dear. So the two Russian agents just wanted to quickly fly into Britain, check into a dodgy looking hotel in London, shoot over to Salisbury of all places, and just happened to go down the road where the Skripals live(as proven by CCTV) then leave and get back to Russia as fast as they can? All under false names as well. Did they come all that way from Russia just because they wanted a five minute visit to a road in Salisbury of all places? That by some miracle coincidence is where the Skripals live.
Blimey rigsby. Whatever next? The Earth is flat and Elvis is alive?

Haha. Thanks, I enjoyed that. It's always good to see a post that you know incontrovertibly is wrong.

Riggers, I work for the Home Office. My desk is yards from the Home Secretary's office. I work on the policing side with the Policing Minister, but I'm well aware of what's going on in the department - especially Windrush. That's not fake news - it's real news and it was a real **** up for which monumental efforts are being made now to repair it. There was no ill intent. The HS had to resign because she inadvertently misled the Commons because someone like me made a mistake in their briefing notes. Simple as that.

Riggers, you are lucky to live in a country where things are far from perfect, but - as much as or more than anywhere else on earth - we have a fair, functional, honest system of government and justice. I've been all over Whitehall. I know the IOPC and HMICFRS intimately. After 10 years in 2MS I know the Home Office like the back of my hand. All I have ever seen is lots of diligent, hard working people trying to do the right thing at all times in the fairest, most inclusive, most scrupulous way they can imagine to do whatever task they are undertaking. Why oh why do you mistrust it so much?

I never said Windrush was fake news.

Fake news is when the authorities tell the people of Salisbury if they were in any of the pubs/ Resterants that the Skipals visited In their 3 hour walk around Town, whilst covered in the highly toxic, dead in 20 minutes Novichok. They must take the following safety precautions....Put your cloths in the washing machine, wipe your shoes with baby wipes and double bag items for the dry cleaners.

Now that may fool the good hard working and honest staff of the home office. But it certainly doesn’t fool anyone who’s job it is or was to attend CBRN incidents and do a full decontamination process. Including many senior officers who for obvious career reasons can’t speak publicly.

What else do you want them to say? If you've accidentally come into contact with Novichok, even by the most innocent of actions, you'll probably going to die and it could be absolutely anywhere in your town.

There would be mass panic. It's damage limitation and sadly one person died because of the apparently pointless advice.

I haven’t seen the CCTV but I bet we know it’s all true because it has the time and date in the corner.

Ask yourself why they never closed the whole of Salisbury town centre. It’s a minimum of 400m for each area involved . Why wasn’t the local hospital closed and why did they take 4 months to dispose of the ambulances.

Why aren’t all the people who dealt with them dead. Why did 4 out of 5 victims survive.....Because it can’t possibly have been a nerve agent attack.

Cheers Riggers. The immediate aftermath of the Scripals being taken ill wasn’t quite so clear cut. What was known was that two people were taken ill in a very particular way. Those two people had been seen earlier in one or two places and appeared in good health and spirits. No cause could be immediately identified but some form of poisoning was the strong suspicion due to the symptoms presenting - yet no substance could be seen, as Novichok is odourless and colourless.

As such the immediate imperative is to balance not causing public panic but also ensuring as best you can that you quickly, clearly provide advice that can help contain the issue while you work out what the hell happened and just who has been affected. The advice on clothing etc is for that purpose and to try to prevent whatever substance is at the heart of the problem from being walked all over town and many more people falling ill. It is a miracle no more people were taken ill and it is to the huge credit of the medical staff, police and other local and national services that such a serious event did not do more harm and there was no panic of the kind there would have been if all the facts had been widely known at the time it happened. The facts weren’t widely known - they weren’t known by anyone. It was a truly fantastic display of public services of all kinds doing an amazing job and I for one am hugely proud of those women and men who were involved at all levels.

Ambulances were needed for forensic work and then to see whether any part could be safely salvaged.

The restrictions in Salisbury and at the hospital are for the reasons I have earlier. You can’t just ‘shut down’ a town or a general hospital. The hospital is full of patients who could not all be moved quickly, or without detriment to them, especially when the risks don’t require it. Containment, as happened, is a much better response which also allows the rest of the hospital to function. Besides that, what good would shutting down the hospital do even if you could? Are we saying the medical staff and others, who would still be needed to treat whatever casualties there were from this event, are somehow less worthy of protection than the patients and public? If you evacuate them too who will treat the casualties? Or would we just do a handbrake turn, Top Gear style, with the ambulance at the main entrance with the doors open so the patient trolley shoots through, with a note pinned to it to tell them where all the medicines are? I’m being silly now but my point is hat you can quite clearly see, if you think it through, that for all manner of reasons none of the things you just spoke about would have happened - certainly not in the heat of the moment, nor even if the total facts had been known and there had been months to prepare. The right decisions were taken.

For a start the “baby wipes” advice was given more than a week after the event and they kept the high street open the whole time so any substance would have been spread all round the town.

For you information I was actually standing by in the AE department because casualties had been bought in from a suspected Chemical attack on a bus in Mile End road. I was at a station that specialise in decontamination. I had to liaise with the doctors and if it was something dangerous the LFB along with their partners were about to close the London Hospital for the very reason we may be having multiple casualties arriving and victims and staff who would need decontaminating.

We have large portable showers and boilers etc. You the public will have to strip and shower along with 200 other people at a time. We even have a traffic light system so you don’t start pushing. We have a process to collect all your clothing and lorries full of clothing packs so you have something to wear after. You will not be allowed to leave the area until you are processed. there will be lots of people with guns to make sure you comply. I have also been on a course on how to wash the dead in their special body bag before they are handed to the police......I would have been doing all this in a BA and completely covered including my BA set by a gas powered suit. Then another specialist team would scrub me down under the guidance of a scientist.
After one Excercise I was asked how will you deal with Muslim women in such circumstances....mmmm .

All this equipment was bought by the government. London obviously has the most but we are contracted to go anywhere in Britain..... I don’t know anyone who has been any where near Salisbury.

The road the two agents are seen walking down has been identified as the road the Skripals lived down. Or are you saying their road was super imposed in the background? So fake CCTV you must be implying.
Also by the sounds of it this morning, they haven't got footage of the agents spraying the Novichok on the door handle, but seem to have them reaching the Skripal residence and then going back down that road. WOW. So all must be fake according to you. Our government must be desperate to falsely accuse and take on a super power country.

I’ve no doubt the CCTV of that street. The question is are the 2 people really Russian agents?
Was it actually filmed on that day?
Why did it take the team of 250 of Britain’s top detectives 5 months to find this CCTV.?

I am in no way doubting your type of work rigsby, and what you say you are involved in. I just think you've got your wires crossed with the Novichok poisonings and the Marines exercises on Salisbury Plain, because things are not adding up for you. Did you know for example there have been 14 murders/assassinations of Russians living here that upset or double crossed Russia. Most were carried out by assassins that left no trace of the murderer. Most have been swept under the carpet for some reason.

The 3 week exercise finished on the day the government soap opera ( known as the Skripals) began.

Amber Rudd didn’t want to go through with the utter nonsense that’s why she resigned. The Windrush thing was just a cover story.

Even in the initial press conferences Rudd can barely act the part but as you will see Jarvid is fully on board.

Corbyn knows it’s all fake news but of course politically he can’t say a word.

There’s a lot more to come

Does it involve reptiles?

I’ve no doubt Russians have been mudered by Russians, for all sorts of reasons.

What has happened is the Salisbury attack in the way we are being told....not even a remote chance.

I watched a good interview with an American reporter who had turned up in Salisbury some weeks later. He claims he knew it was fake news within hours because there were Zero press or media even looking for the survivor/ relative of the victim, type story.

Even the funeral we got one picture of a hearse on its own with mum flowers.....no people no cars no interviews.

Do people typically let reporters into a funeral to do photographing/filming/interviews?

OK rigsby, how do you explain the perfume spray that Charlie Rowley and Dawn Sturgess found. Dawn Sturgess tragically sprayed it on her wrists thinking it was perfume, but it was Novichok. Was that spray specially prepared, adapted and discarded by the British or the Russians?
