Currently listening to 'House of Trump. House of Putin' and it truly is astonishing and scary in equal measure what Putin, Russia and Trump have got away with these past 30+ years (yes Trump is as dirty and corrupt as they come, research Trump Tower and the wholesale sell off of countless apartments to known Russian mafia bosses) Their links to the Russian mafia, corrupt Oligarchs and politicians, murder, extortion, money laundering, real estate fraud and more both at home in Russia and in the US is absolutely colossal. It's as plain as day for anyone that want's to research enough that Putin personally ordered Litvinenko's murder. Putin and his FSB/mafia cronies had been embroiled in a long running feud with Litvinenko for months and months before his murder.

Putin knows that we in the west are more or less powerless to do anything to prevent this sort of thing from happening in the future with those that have been caught being just the tip of the very murky iceberg. Besides which we, as in the West, have been doing similar to various nation states for years in one form or another.

On a wider point in general. Overseas government meddling in another nation state elections and affairs has been going on since the 50's with America being one of the biggest protagonists. The only difference is that in the past Western governments and their clandestine services never actually went very far with it. Putin, the corrupt Oligarchs he controls, the GRU and FSB and the Russian state mafia have in recent years taken it to a whole new level knowing full well the repercussions will be minimal at best

Agree with most of your post but if check out the CIA you will find they actually funded and organised groups to overthrow governments in places like Iran, Guatemala and Syria......Especially if they were regimes that were friendly/communist leaning to their own people......The US always prefers dictators who are on their pay-roll.

I haven't seen any evidence about Russians and neither have you. We have all been told lots of things and I know that all governments lie to their people so I tend to question what im being told....Remember we went to war on the WMD lie. The excuse after was even worse.

Russians do kill each other in other countries. It is often not by the Russian state but linked to their complicated crime gangs etc.

As they realeased the most deadly nerve agent ever invented and are responsible for one death and some serious injuries/medical condition we have no doubt sent the best detectives and Experts immediately to interview the two agents. Their report will be obviously discussed in parliament.

I never claimed they were innocent tourists.

That’s why I’m asking what we’re they really up to, for who and why.

What I do know is the authorities and the government knew from day 1 that they were not dealing with the worlds most deadly nerve agent.
