Losing Kiernan was massive for me. If we'd have kept him and changed the midfield around a bit earlier due to fatigue after Hull I don't think we'd have gone on this poor run

Is it me or do most of our loan signings from bigger clubs seem not too hungry for success, doesn't it seem that coming here is a punishment rather than opportunity. Years ago our loan players were from non league who wanted the chance. Maybe PB doesn't do non league?

Woodrow came here and played in virtually every game zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Barnard returns and yes you guessed it he plays in every game and he under any circumstances does not deserve the pitch time he is getting.

Either Phil is bloody stupid or the loan deal is another play at any costs arrangement.Did Phil actually sign him or was someone above him thinking of bums on seats?.

The wheels have well and truly fallen off yet Phil plays the old guard every bloody time whilst ignoring the youth as in Williams and Payne,None of us know if these 2 can influence us to better results yet one thing is certain they cannot do any worse on what is on offer at the mo.

Phil Brown might have a better idea though...:nope:

Really!

So you think Phil knows best?..Why would Phil sign a player who since October 2011 has only played 41 league games scoring 7 and even more incredible had not played a single match this season!,And by a miracle the same player has struggled badly in his 5 appearances here,Either Phil is the messiah or something else is going on.

Tilly is returning as manager on the condition that Ron brings back all his original squad and pays them 3 years wages up front.......Adam Barrett next :winking:

Yet you want to play Williams who has only made two appearances and never scored.

Both seem to me to be a leap of faith and hope.

How do you feel about the news Brown wants to bring in 3 or 4 loanees ?

If he can bring in these loans and they can improve the side FANTASTIC !,So long as they are not blokes who have not played in year's or aged 40 odd.

I alway's think that if you are good enough you are young enough as in Williams and Payne.Basically I want what every blues craves and that is to get out of this division moving up not down(in case of wise guys)

That's the key.

The question with loanees and with our youngters is whether they will be good enough and better than we have, you are going to take a chance with either. Problem with loanees is the chances are they wont have been playing, the wouldn't be available for loan if they had, unless of course you get a youngster on his second loan like the Bolton lad.

Centre back is a no brainer whoever we get.

Most Prem and Championship clubs have reserve sides so would be good if Phil phoned his mates and begged for a fast strong forward and one fast large unit at CB.

Am I asking for too much:omg:

I see no-one has mentioned Ryan Cresswell, who is still warming the bench at Fleetwood. As an ex shrimper, he would qualify.
Would anyone like to see him back for a couple of months?

I doubt Fleetwood would want to help out promotion rivals. Obviously though i'd like to see him back but it won't happen.

That would suit me. Personally I would love to see Adam Barrett back here in a Southend shirt again. He could certainly do a job for us and that's a fact.

We need proven strikers. It would appear they have to have played for us before and are past their peak. Stan & Billy Best?

I agree with this, Barnard hasn't looked the player he was and imho a poor loan signing, and what was that all about the massive intro to the crowd before the Hull game??? For a loan player at that!

This loan deal has RM's name all over it, a failed attempt to lift the crowds and the team.

Give the kids more of a go and quit with all these pathetic loan signings!
