The main thoughts must go to whoever has copped it, I hope they are OK and make a quick recovery and havent managed to accidently transmit it to someone more vulnerable
Many folks will know someone who has caught the awful thing. My nephew recovered fairly well after a fortnight although it cost him a minor op he was going to have, and an interview to become a Marine
My good friends relatively young wife ended up on a ventilator, he got a call to one day to tell him to get ready to come in as it wasnt likely she would make it , and he was told she only had a one in 5 chance of survival. She wasnt that old or vulnerable. Miraculously she did make it through but hit problems coming off the ventilator and has been left with some long Covid issues.
So all those very whiny Cambridge fans need to keep a bit more perspective in mind

As much as I disagree with Cambridge's stance I do understand their frustration.
They're 2nd in the League and are on a bit of a wobble. Given how **** we are, they probably saw this match as a chance to arrest their "slide", and that opportunity has been taken away from them.
What I find distasteful is that they're putting their own needs ahead of the health and wellbeing of both sets of players.

The health and safety of the players, club representatives and the officials should be paramount. Footballing issues like promotion / relegation shouldn't come into it.

I must be honest, I'm not clear on the rules surrounding players testing positive. If we have a couple of players who have then surely that affects the whole squad?

Bournemouth are playing today but Josh king has tested positive. Obviously that's higher leagues.
I think clubs can play if others negative and no symptoms.
I think RM is making the most of a couple of positives for whatever reason. But probably within rights to do so. Shame as confidence was high.
