After an suffering that rather inept performance at Roots Hall this afternoon rather mention any the many negatives I thought a try to find a positive.

For me although it nearly back fired I was pleased to see Sturrock make some substitutions early to try and get us back in the game.

Easy to get away from the theatre of screams this afternoon. That was the positive for me.

Positive- The 4 old boys ay the front of the East blacks were on top form today - harassing any Port Vale player that went near them. It was worth the admission money alone just to watch them!!!

Obviously a game to try and forget with a few pints of "Kronenberg" but for the record although we conceeded 3 goals I actually thought our keeper looks the dogs gonads for a little chap. Came off of his line when needed, could not do much for the first goal (awful marking) or the second, maybe the third he could have reacted a bit quicker but he gets my vote....until next week that is.

think morris made some great saves in the 1st half from dodgy deflections or score could have been alot worse.

Morris looked good, mind you with the back four playing at another sport, it certainlt wasn't football, he was given plenty of chances to shine.

Patterson works his proverbials off and it is a crying shame that he hasn't got a decent experienced striker to guide him.

Watching Tommy Widrington on the half way line whirling his arms fasterthan a windmill in a hurricane.....

Ok it was a bad day at the office, but they happen. What did we expect with almost 20 new players?
We need to get off the players backs. I also think Soares is a waste of space but I dont shout it out.
