Cheers Ozzy! :)

I was genuinely gutted to get rid of the 360 as I had invested so much time and money in it, but after having both for a week or two, the choice was a no brainer.

Anyone in the same situ would do the same, I am confident of that.

Have played both on HD tvs, and first batch of games from the PS3 look exactly like the same graphics as the XBOX 360 latest batch, and with Microsoft bringing out the XBOX elite soon I'll think I will stick the XBOX

The decision is all down to what games you want to play, if you see there's quite a lot of 360 games that you think you'll enjoy more than the smallish (on account of it just being released of course!) PS3 catalogue then go for the 360 as you can always sell it at a later point and pick up a cheaper PS3.

Just remember to factor in a new TV if you plan on using one of the consoles (unless you own one already of course). For the PS3/360 to display games and Blueray/HD-DVD movies in Full HD you'll need an LCD capable of displaying 1080p which means it'll need to be at least 37 inches, look to be paying around £700-800 for a nice Samsung.

As far as PC Gaming is going, check out the next big thing thats due out this year here -->

The sublime Crysis

360 all the way its better for online gaming and i played both a ps3 and 360 not much difference to be fair and all ps3 got is blue-ray thats the only thing thats better then a 360. Blue-ray dvd players cost an arm and a leg anyway so its cheaper to buy a ps3 for blue-ray. 360 Have alot of shoot em ups that not always a good thing but you got a 360 buy crackdown.

Ok, being pedantic (and some personal choice! :D), PS3 also has...

1) Better controller
2) It looks better and hence fits in as part of the 'downstairs' furniture.
3) Its virtually silent, where the 360 sounds like a plane taking off
4) Its more reliable - not many, if any, cases of broken PS3s compared to the '3 lights of death' and people owning 2,3,4 even 5 360s.
5) Cooler game cases (ok, I am struggling now!)
